I'm a big hat reseller and here's mine...I bought metal shelving and some 64qt clear plastic containers on Amazon. Figure out a sorting method. Mine is sports leagues, auto racing, then I go by color if they dont meet the other categories. Others will do standard inventory systems, its up to you. Just figure out a way that makes them easy to pick after you made the sale. Nothing is worse than sorting through 4+ bins because you forgot which one its in. The hats can easily be stored stacked together, just push the back into the contour of the front and "stack" them carefully in the containers. For shipping I use either 10x8x6 or 9x7x5 box, hat is inside a clear poly bag with a layer of bubble wrap to prevent too much movement. Customers seem to like my packing method.

I usually keep them in for the thin material hats, if it's thicker, it usually holds it shape itself.

@@cernochsconnection171 Hey man, do you think this restoration process would work to turn an unstructured low profile hat into an structured mid or high profile one?.

I also need replacement foam. Only thing I can think of is buying cheap new foam trucker hats and salvaging the foam from them, then selling the hat minus the foam. Or just go to a craft store and find some stiff comfortable foam thats thin.

I like to use plastic bags because you can pack as much as you want for shaping purposes.

The foam was crumbling no one wants that.

@@cernochsconnection171 I have too many cool hats that need real work, I have one that needs visor replacement that is such a cool hat man but I think I will have to replace the fabric too if I unstitch, it's a satin nylon. By the way what is the best hat cleaning product?

I did it at least five times. There's only a way: gently remove the broken bill (I mean to nto damage the front of the hat) and replace it. In first paying attetion that is "centered" and not asymmetrical. Be ready with three needles wtih sewing threads already in. Helping with your hands to hold the bill in the right position start to FIX that thred to piece the interior border of the bill with the lower border of the front (be sure to put the needle when this side curve a little bit). Once you've fixed those three points (a central one and two aside) you'll be able to sew the whole border of the bill to the lower border of the front. Then rise up the sweatband and sew it to the bill. It sounds complicate, but the real difficult moment is when you fix the first three points of thread. The rest is not complicate, just loooooong. lol. Be sure to use the needles only in the inside part of the front. If you don't want to feel the unpleasant sorta "I glued it so I cannot say how long it will keep glued) teh only solution is using thread and needle in the way I suggested you.
