Great video. Truck driver wives have it far tougher at home than we do on the road. They are Rock Stars! ❤❤ As far as making promises when I was going to be home. I quickly learned not to do that. There are simply too many things out of our control to be able to make such promises reliably.

Awwww... so sweet of you to honor your wife like this ! I admire men drivers who stay loyal and true ! I for one am a bonified female driver who hopes to meet her man, who will most likely have to be a driver too, but he will be single, available and committed to me. We need seasoned drivers advice, etc. and I truly respect a driver who honors his partner in life. Keep it 💯 .. 🙏 I lost my love to Covid. He was a driver, Navy veteran and I miss him but feel him in the jump seat on every trip.

We've learned that communication is the best way to make this work. It's hard being apart from each other for so long, but we cherish the time we have together when he's home or I get to go out with him.

Man Glen, I wish my wife could co-drive with me. It just isn’t for her though. She was hit by a drunk driver 25 years ago, so she just can’t sit still. That combined with her anxiety on the road, she just never could. I took her with me once, and we hit the worst weather I ever faced as a driver. It scared the crap out of her. We have learned to be content with FaceTime.

Honestly it probably keeps as many marriages together as it destroys. I don’t need to see anyone EVERY day.
