Did you change the input from x-input to D-input? You do that using the PXN app. Then you start steam and then ATS. In settings you can tweak the wheel settings.

@@dresanchez4618 for a while after getting the app,and using D-input it was ok but steering was touchy,now im stuck again cuz,i cant get the wheel to center,so i can set it up like it was,cuz now i turn the wheel and truck takes awhile to respond,it doesnt go like it should,in settings in slider i still see yellow line so im just having trouble getting it so the deadzone is how its supposed to be and so the wheel responds like its supposed to,so,whats the fix so i can use it again,the app doesnt have ATS only ETS2 so is it the same,be nice if the add feature worked,cuz it doesnt it just goes to wheel settings,not add a game,i need a fix to my problems

@@chrisgcrane5217 Sorry you are having problems. I have experienced that before too and my work around is to always initialize my wheel to D input with the app 1st and then start Steam. Also sometimes when you make changes to the wheel you have to load another job in order for those changes to be applied correctly. Hopefully this helps my friend

I found a video from whoever made this wheel,and not only she used driver's from the website and the app but she did that setting you said with D-input but she also went to the setting on PC to calibrate it and then she got it working so I did the same thing she did and now if you don't count that or the steering issues,the main issue I just can't fix is the stalling from a stop,when using manual transmission and H-,shifter, and even without a trailer regardless of gear it doesn't want to go forward like it should,I don't know if I'm just not patient when it comes to the clutch/gas,or if there's settings that need changing that I just don't know how due to not knowing what they mean/do/difference between them etc,so these dead zone settings and these terms I see I don't understand it and when I watch other players set theirs up it seems to work for them, but not for me when I use the exact settings as they did,I keep hearing that the basic/default engine and transmission are it,I hear the sliders of some of them are it, and at times PC settings and on the sliders I see the yellow lines that move when pushing the pedals, and some show the line just where you see it others it's halfway through atleast but if I set it where the line shows either the steering wheel moves by itself or when in gear at a stop truck either doesn't move,it stalls,or doesn't even go into a gear from N,even with clutch to floor, and the clutch dead zone I see it at far left,or just a bit to right,the clutch range I see it far left to halfway through and it seems to work for them, and I see settings like invert and those other 2, and on 1 I saw invert on clutch the other 2 on normal or that other 1 when I try invert on any of them the line is either all the way to far right and is stuck or not there at all if I try normal the lines show and move but truck doesn't respond to anything so that other setting I'm stuck using that's giving me a hard time is the only way I can play but it's boring to use automatic or that 1 starting with S,so I was looking in config, and gamelog and found settings for enable double clutching and there's 1 called intelligence for transmission and in gamelog I saw 1 for clutch brake so I think 1 of them might fix it I have not tried them but something needs a fix,if my phone lets me I'll send screenshots of these settings I found and you can try them cuz your more patient than me

You do not need to Bluetooth the wheel with your computer however you will need to download an app and Bluetooth it with your phone to check the functionality of the wheel. It is pretty simple and straightforward. If you have any questions once you get the wheel let me know because there are a few things that you need to do an order for it to work correctly

Sup my friend! Have you tried going into ATS options and adjusting the steering sensitivity settings, along with the steering axis dead-zone setting. Sometimes you have to play with settings a little to find the sweet spot. Hopefully this helps

hello friend and sorry you are having this problem. The only thing I can think of is to run what I call the checklist. First, make sure that your wheel is in the D input. Then make sure that it is in the D input before you start steam up. If your computer is like mine steam starts automatically so you will have to go and shut it down even in the background tray before you switch your wheel to the D input. Once that is done once you’re in the simulator make sure that you have Steering Wheel as your form of input selected and then ensure that you are choosing PXM plus keyboard controller options. Then finally ensure that you have it set to H shifter (in the shifter options) and it should be working when you go to set up your shift points. If this is not working the last thing to double check is when you plug the shifter into the back of the wheel that you are putting into the correct one. If it is not working after that, I think you may have, an issue with the shifter itself or at least to connectivity to the wheel. Also check to make sure the USB port that you are using is powered if it is a USB port hub and or try shifting the USB location of your controller as this sometimes makes a difference. @@iamYashodeep sorry you are still having this issue friend. I have already rocked my brain and provided the solutions that I think could work. I will keep an eye out for anyone else having these issues. Maybe also think about contacting steam support or PXN support which I have never done. Hello friend! The first thing that you must do is make sure that your PXN V9 is on the D input. You have to Bluetooth your phone to the steering wheel and then make sure you hold the mode button down until it is on the D-input. Once the controller is on the right input your assigning the control axis in the input wizard make sure that you’re selecting normal or Center or inverted if necessary. Once you to press the brake pedal and the clutch pedal, the blue line in the indicator should go all the way to the left where is all the way at zero in the pedal is not being depressed. I hope this helps friend helps friend

Also when you assign the clutch and brake pedal axis make sure that they stay separate axis. Once you press all the petals down it should reflect that they are all working on separate independent inputs indicated by the different axis assignment

@@kinghill7584 The D input is what makes it available to map every access and everybody. That’s how I do it and it works every time. Once you put it on the input you have to then start the game. Make sure your remote or your wheel is on the D input before you start American truck simulator. Once you start it he will have to go into the controls and select what controls that you want to use and then follow the input wizard. I hope this helps that’s all I have because that’s exactly what I do to make my work mine work

Hello partner! Thanks for watching and for posting your issue. So to help you, I am going to just list the basics to make sure nothing is missed (even if you are already familiar with these steps) Basic Steps: 1. Bluetooth your PXN V9 with your phone or tablet after downloading the PXN V9 app. 2. Hold the mode burton on the wheel until the D-Input is displayed on the apps homepage (make sure this step is completed before you start ATS) 3. Once you complete steps 1 thru 3, start ATS and go to options, controls and select PXN V9 if not already recognized by the input wizard. 4. Start input wizard and select H-Shifter for transmission and Wheel for controller subtype. 5. Next you must be aware of the transmission type you are a driving for each particular truck and select it (i.e. Eaton Fuller 18 speed, or 12 Speed or a 6 speed, etc). You will find this selection under the H-Shifter Set-up, Shifter layout drop-down. 6. Below where you select which transmission you are using (reference step 5), you are going to select “advanced” for the shifter layout behavior and “clutch or throttle” for the shifter fast split 7. Immediately under the shifter fast split selection you will start seeing the shifter positions beginning with reverse. For the shifter position reverse you will leave that blank for the shifter position one you will map it to your shifter by shifting into the number one gear position. For a shifter position two you are going to map it to your shifter gear number two and so on and so forth until you have completed all positions including the reverse position which will make shifter position number six 8. Immediately under the shifter position six is the shifter toggle 1 which refers to your range. On my wheel I have mapped the Game pad down position for that feature. For my splitter I have mapped the joy pad button up. Also be sure to select shifter toggles use switch mode. This box should be checked. 9. Keep in mind that each transmission will utilize these mapped positions and the only difference will be how those shift patterns relate to the transmission that you selected in the shifter layout. I typically use Eaton Fuller 18 speeds. 10. This particular shifter is limited in how you utilize the range and splitter buttons. Unfortunately with this wheel you must continue to hold down either the range or splitter why you are switching into that gear and then it will hold that selection. The only caveat to that is the splitter will always go back to the low gear if you let the gas pedal go. Please familiarize yourself with how an 18 speed or 6 speed or 12 speed transmission works and how the range and splitter functions impact your shifting. Also remember that these rigs shift in different patterns. For example the reverse position is actually in the gear shifter position one. Your low is actually in gear shifter position two; your 1L is in gear shifter position three you’re 2L is in gear shifter position 4; your 3L is in gear shifter position five and your 4L is in gear shifter position reverse which is all the way to the right and down. You must also know how to use the range selector and the splitter selector to maximize use of all gears. You will probably want to search a KZfaq video to find out how to actually do that.

I mapped the wheel joypad up for the splitter and the wheel joypad down for the range. I find it useful that way because the shifter doesn’t have the appropriate buttons tor those to work.

Happy New Year Charles! So you have a splitter and range control. The splitter is where you have a high version and low version of a specific gear. 1 low, 1 high then 2 low , 2 high so on and so forth. Lower sides of the gear equate to more torque and raw tractor power versus the high side of the gear is for speed and/ or fuel conservation. Super heavy loads may require splitting the gears more whereas the lighter loads may not require as much splitting. Obviously the grade of the road may also perpetuate more splitting. As far as the range is concerned that is the tool that separates a group of gears. For example an Allison 18 speed has two ranges (low range - gears L thru 4 and the high range - gears 5 thru 8). My question is more to how do you switch from low and high gears considering the steering wheel only has 6 gears
