@@jacob5014 Well since I have retired from driving for Schneider National, I have no reason to prove anything. Especially, the long trips to Laredo through Houston and San Antonio, and to West Memphis, where their other terminal is located.

The three places I used to see tons of lizards was OKC west, south Dallas, and west Memphis. Don't know if they are still there or not, don't stop in those locations anymore. I'll stop before or after. 👍🏼

Omg twice now I’ve come close to seeing you two on the highway I past you by in New York on 219 and I wasn’t to far away from the salt plant in rittman definitely an interesting place to pick up from. I’ve had to spend the night in the empty trailer lot a couple times. Stay safe out there drivers!

Im debating going to you guys (CFI) I love the kenworth trucks in the fleet! also I am forced to move from Schneider so im looking around and only have a year dedicated 40 miles south of boston in massachusetts so yea..... been watching ya since you started as well!

I always saw them back in the 70's and 80's Hell I had one approach me in my 4 Wheeler one time at a truck stop in Whittier California. Hahaha

They’re usually close by but the truck stops are so down on them they don’t come on the premises any more. Hollar at them on the communications device lol!

@@tmo.48 It wasn’t always that way. Back in the day they were thick as flies in truck stops. You couldn’t sleep for them climbing up on your truck knocking on your window.

I pulled up to a location to pick up a trailer, No trucks were at the location, I was happy, I see a tractor drop off a fresh trailer for me, I go to pull up to it and out of nowhere a dude in another truck cuts me off and backs into it. I am like, what the hell dude! He says, my trailer. I get all pissed and ask what the hell makes him think he is ahead of me, In my mind I was there first, He points across the filed a half mile away where 5 trucks are in a line, he says, the line starts over their buddy. Oh Shit! My bad.

AT ONE TIME WHEN THIS WAS A 76 TRUCK STOP..... BEFORE TA AND FLYING PILOT J TOOK OVER ALL THE TRUCK STOPS IN OHIO THIS WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST WERE STATE ROTE 224 AND INTERSTATE 71 CAME TOGETHER

Maverick is getting the mirror technology installed on their trucks. Makes it much safer driving at night and in inclement weather. Some of their drivers were concerned if it failed on the road. System has 6 backup systems, I believe. The only complaint I have seen from their drivers is positioning of sun visors at time can be problematic. But the majority of their drivers like them.

Good videos have nice time with girlfriend cruising the country you make it look easy and make bad situations turn out good .that trucking world is behind scenes people don’t even know what you drivers go thru keep it up show the chaos at night at the loves pilots how everyone is flooding in in for parking explain how it all works and money for spots .I like watching you back into spots or film girlfriend backing in .Stay safe

For us non-truckers, why do you slide the tandems? Part if I think might be maneuvering..,.but when backing into a dock? Better weight distribution?

Many customers require us to slide our tandems all the way to the rear when loading or unloading because it gives the forklifts a solid base to drive on. If the tandems are slid forward, the rear of the trailer can dip down several feet when the forklift enters or exits then rapidly spring back up causing the forklift to tip forward and possibly drop the load it's carrying. In some cases, your trailer won't be at the right height to fit into the dock with the tandems slid forward.

They would send you a load delivering as close as possible to your house and then deadhead you home after you deliver it. There’s some cfi customers in Florida, but not too many. Probably a non issue but a recruiter could tell ya for sure.
