That’s called a MEGA fuse, should always carry a spare, also should carry the fusible link part# 21352082 it goes from the negative post on batteries to the frame above and behind the batteries.

Paper clip might be to small for the current, hope it works, the voltage should be fine. Probably ok for a little while, like in your case to get you to the next stop

The fuse blown because it detects an issue...paper clip is not the solution or is it🐐..LOOSE live wire shorted out due to vibrations
