I use to do my binders on the right side so I would not be in traffic when I had too stop and tighten down which was quite frequently because we did not have air VM suspention

The big yard in Lebanon you passed by at the end with all the brown trailers is out parent company RFC. That’s who we do all of our railroad work through.

what's the distance between front of trailer and back of sleeper? I guess the better question is back of sleeper to front of drives? reason being, I'm after an old cabover and I really really like your setup.

Really liking that intro. Also is your current steering wheel an 18in and is your lead lift axle on your trailer a smaller wheel or tire than the fixed axles or am I just trippin haha?

Yup 18” The drop axle is the same size but it’s a steerable axle… it has an “idaho spread” so it might look smaller cause of how far away it is from the others

37:40 sitting on side of trailer is easiest way to clean off boots, u can kick your feet together, kick tires, or if it’s a company truck you just hop in with no worry at all

I wonder how much time I’ve wasted when I’m done securing using bungees on the extra chain so it’s not sitting on the deck 😂. An older trucker told me to do it because of dot and I never questioned it. Great video, I appreciate the content!

Not a bad habit… I only leave them because of how much time is waisted in between drops trying to unravel them. So much faster to just unsnap and go

Only if I’m in Oregon and hauling 65’ beams anything smaller I can haul with no oversized signs… Washington I’ve got an annual permit for long loads

hello. Your chains should not have been on the ground, haven't you figured that out yet. You hang them on the run rail, so you can move at a moment's notice. Why put a chain away, use it to secure your load.

Man, that's amazing driving a brick through the wind. I've been through Oregon and Washington. Hilly, like crazy wouldnt expect that. I'm thinking of getting a 567 pete 280wb. I'm not sure what rears to get for good fuel mileage. A 48ft flatbed and haul lumber and steel coils out of Georgia and run locally/regional to see if i can be home more often. Currently pulling a 53ft step with my vnl64t780 doing well so far.

@@ajahmodowner6329 it’s got a 605 2050 x15 Cummins. Either would work but I can get out on the big road and run 70+ without it being red lined. Also still run up most hills in my area at 60 mph+ or -

Mama Juana Has herbs inside, the longer you let it sit to cure the better. When the bark is a dark oak color it’s ready to add any liquor of choice. Red wine (sweet) and honey is best for curing. Enjoy 🥃
