To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.

After watching 4 episodes, I can confidently say that the detective genre is not in Ms. Lopez's wheelhouse.

Night Country was so authentic in the way it existed in its own world and implemented the extremity of its environment into the narrative and its characters. Kali and Jodi gave us strong feminine figures within this amazing contribution to the True Detective anthology.

Issa López threw five books and four shows into Chat GPT and asked the artificial intelligence to create Night Country so that every modern day progressive woke clone would clap. It's mindless and without complex nuance storytelling. She is perfect for Hollywood.

This season was marred by talentless narcissists more focused on projecting their own supposed greatness than on delivering a compelling story. Individuals lacking in genuine talent like Issa López should not be permitted to squander resources.
