I bought one day it came out and it is the best fitting helmet I’ve ever had by far. Switched from the Bauer IMS 11 after I received two minor concussions within 2 years (one from the boards and one from a beer league hero’s elbow)

Just got this helmet for my son. Needed to do a little modifications but not too difficult like some reviews/comments suggest. He actually forgot he tried it on and started to watch TV. So I am guessing it’s super comfy. lol. First night on the ice at a checking clinic tonight.

I’ve heard of issues with fitting cages due to the j clips, etc. Can anyone confirm this?

I left the J clips off and my sons bubble fit great. There is a great debate about J clips and some experts say it’s safer without them. I only left them off to fit the bubble.

Medium. My son is exactly 59 and we went large. I had to modify by sewing the two thicker sets of pads together.

Is there a cage combo? Or any cages that can be used for this

Hi Ejijah, There is currently no cage combo released, however, there are a few cages that we have confirmed will fit onto the helmet. So....how do you adjust the helmet ?

Canadian Monster they mention it in the video, but the helmet comes with different sized pads (the blue ones) they are velcroed in. You can removed them and pick from 3 sizes to find the best one. The helmets S,M,L are sized similar to new era hats ex 7 3/4 - 7 etc.

How well does this MIPS system work when you attach a full face cage to the exterior and then have the chin strapped up as well? Seems like that being attached to the outside of the helmet would prevent the MIPS from doing it's job on the inside. The helmet does feel more like a bike helmet and is super light weight though. What cages, shields, and hybrids work best with this?

Hey JJ The MIPS system will still offer the same protection when a cage/full shield has been installed. Warrior's cages offer the best fit, however, most cages/visors will still work. Brandon IW Hockey

This helmet doesn't protect your head. It may seem great on rotational impacts but there is almost nothing to stop a direct blow to the head. It genuinely feels like a bike helmet and that isn't good thing.
