Part 2 - "Politics-Religion-Reality!" (Freedom In Action)
From the Christian perspective, our politics should begin with this statement, expressed in Christian vernacular: "Jesus is Lord!". In a more general expression, "Jesus is King!" In other words, My primary concern is to follow Him and continue to expand His kingdom. Jesus is the ultimate ruler in my life because I trust Him, and He promotes the best interests of all human beings.
One of the most significant concerns for Americans that continue to expand political polarization is the feeling that "our way of life is taken away and our freedom of religion is under attack." The perceived threat of a lack of freedom is the underlying current that continues to erode trust and gain momentum in support of political violence.
