If he really loves you and wants you he will text you call you and check in with you to make sure you are ok. When a man is interested he will go out of his way to impress you. I learned the hard way and I know right when I meet men what their intentions are. I stopped wasting my time with men that aren't sure and immature

My husband told me once or twice that I was beautiful when we first met. He never has again, not even on our wedding day. I've spoken to him about it because it hurts my feelings a bit when I dress up for him on our dates or sometimes just for fun and I get compliments from everyone except him. I've come to accept the fact that maybe he has issues with complementing people, but today he has hurt my feelings so much. He made a joke when he took the wilted lettuce out of the fridge and said "look, it's like your boobs" I haven't stopped crying and I don't know if it's because of the pregnancy hormones or because my breasts have always been my biggest insecurity. I can admit they are not the greatest after breastfeeding our son, and my husband has now done the opposite of what I crave from him and said something really offensive about my body that I can't control or get out of my head. He has tried to appologize and even tried to have sex but I feel I don't want to give myself to him after his comment. He can easily joke around and say rude things about me, but has never been able to say something nice. When he tried to apologize he also said sarcastically "ahh baby you are pretty, you smell so nice, look at your jeans" (he bought them for me) but it felt insincere. Am I overreating?

@@anthonydbrice Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate hearing that my feelings are valid and it's nice to let it out, even if it is over the internet. I feel I don't want to involve my friends and family because it may change the way they see my husband and even though I'm shocked and hurt by what he's said, I don't believe he is purposely trying to hurt me. I'll try have another conversation to explain why I feel the way I do. But honestly, I think he just doesn't get it. :(

The crack in my last relationship was that he tried to change me because he didn’t like my “career” (casino dealer). If it’s what I like, am good at, and pays the bills, why would I want to change paths? It’s low stress, high pay (even if it is tip-based), and I don’t have to worry about projects and deadlines or stay over due to someone not making it into work. And, if you’re at the right house, you get all the regular benefits you’d get from a “normal” job - medical, dental, vision, life, 401k (some houses match), etc. The irony? He likes to play poker.

Facts with that first one.. Last year my ex invited me to go on a work trip with him, he was too distracted arguing with a username on Instagram and ended up telling me the wrong date for the flight so couldn’t fly with him and just booked whatever was going out there the same day from a different airport.. the MORNING OF as I’m about to go through security, he texts and says his flight isn’t till the next day and that he got it all wrong etc 😴 I was already anxious flying on my own for the first time but this heightened it, plus having to find somewhere to stay last minute… when he got out there the next day he didn’t even hug me or say sorry just said it wasn’t his fault LOL. That’s when I knew it was coming to and end.

The problem is that you had to actually make a video about this because so many women are clueless bcz black Father's are no longer present in the home, so females are confused when dating and trying to determine. Thank God for positive male role models in my life
