I love this! Even thou I don't play keys, I'm a guitarist, the fender Rhodes is my favorite instrument. Best sound ever! Keep the Rhodes alive guys!

Thank you guys so much!!! I plan on purchasing one soon. I'm just enamored with the fact that you're keeping the Fender Rhodes sound alive!! I really thank you guys for the tedious work & years sweat and doubts and frustrations that you all must of went through to come up with the sound that keeps the original sound, the style of the board, features, all the way to the legs and pedal alive. ( and the paint schemes) The Most High be praised for your ingenuity thanks guys!!! :-) :-) :-)

I have so much respect for you guys. In the middle of restoring a 1980 Rhodes right now. I've already started saving for my VV 73 active. Hoping to place an order in a years time! I wonder what VV will have dreamt up by then! Amazing work, brilliant engineering, pure people. I'll be in NYC in a few weeks and am gonna try to pay your shop a visit. Cheers!

I'm astonished by the fact that this video has just 70 likes... VV rules. One day when I am a real adult, I dream of owning one. I play a Nord Electro 4D right now. Best of luck to your bright future, fellas.

Had to giggle when I heard "The Lick" at 7'00" Love the work you guys are doing. Your replacement parts have kept my 78' and 79' suitcase Mk1 Rhodes sounding better than ever. Just might have to get a Classic VV piano someday. Great work guys!

So many tunes used electro-mechanical pianos like that when I was young. I still think it's a cool sound and am glad someone's keeping that sound going. If I actually could play, the green metal flake one would be on my list. :-)

Now I think, I wonder only Vintage Vibe guys standing on the shoulders of giants can keep improving a successor of Rhodes piano. I had been waiting the technicians who work not only for famous musicians but for us. I thank VV guys very much!!

I didn't know there was such thing as NY and LA voicings, but I get exactly what you mean !! And I feel you totally, I prefer the "deeper" tone rather than the more "bell-like" one

Beautiful sounding and looking pianos and clavs. They really sound like a respectful version of a modern electric piano should sound! Cheers from Argentina!!!

I hope to score a vibranet some time! To your point about digital clones.. there is a video of Tim Gane of Stereolab who says digital simply does not keep up particularly in live settings. Not that you need convincing 😊

roknrexstudio A neat look would be a clear harp cover (top), a dark stained harp(maybe black walnut) with a warm white LED led strip within, lighting up the interior of the piano.

I reckon putting speed sensors that would send MIDI notes and velocity would actually be really easy. How could would it be to use a real EP also as a controller for synths and samplers?!

Amazing thing guys, big thumbs up for everyone! this is the first piano that has a strong own character when you play together with the band, but without dominating it.... most piano's go up in "crowd of sounds" or dominate it to much....it's easy to listen to, love it... Greetings Rolf S... (i also built acoustic speakers by hand, www.rolfsaudio.tk)
