Yes, even though she was into and in it the same way. Her only concern about that was that her husband could get attached to that girl.

I know it was the only way to sentence him to life in prison but I find it disgusting that Janice wasn't punished for her part in the kidnapping. She only got off because she testified against her husband which confuses me. I thought there was something called spousal privilege. I feel bad for Janice's kids, I wouldn't be surprised if it is revealed that her kids cut off all ties with their parents knowing what they did to Colleen and the other girl.

They made a movie about this, it was called "7 Years a Slave", starring Steve McQueen. The movie won the Oscar for Best Picture, and John C. Reilly won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Also, Ida Lupino won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for portraying Patsey, an African American enslaved woman, which was quite a stretch for a White woman who had died 18 years before this movie was made. "True Story!!"

Don't make full sense. When Carleen was at the church or in the field where Cameron hurt his foot with an axe or with Cameron parents, she should have run or cried out.-Something missing here.??? Anyway, Cameron wife should have been given 60 years in jail or liquidated.

It's called "Learned helplessness", the victim will not attempt to escape even when given the chance. 2 researchers figured it out and wrote a paper about it and they were hired by the CIA to develop the CIA's enhanced interrogation program based on it

It's also called Stockholm syndrome. The victim over time gets emotionally attached or sympathetic to the perpetrator.

So Janice went scotch free?. She should have gotten 100+ years also. Typical. Probably her that instigated the kidnapping in the first place. And offcourse she became jealous. And as typical, she backstabbed her "husband". Anyway, they BOTH deserved long prisonsentences. Absolutly no reason for her to get scotch free of.

Films like this make me lol, laying on your back when asleep you run the risk of choking on your own mucus, and with gag definatly would, how about being abit more believerbul. A minor point but stupid mistake to make.
