On a much much smaller scale, but I have a friend that I have known for over 30 years since we were kids, and her husband was stealing from the company we worked for. We all worked there together and one day the police came walking down the hallway and arrested him and when I tell you she literally had a nervous breakdown collapsed onto the floor and was admitted to the hospital. She had no idea. People may not believe that, but I knew her. I've known her since we were children, she had no idea. Extremely naive and oblivious. They ended up divorced.
@user-ov6bv9cn1o5 күн бұрын
@@donnajoogarcia1 I hear you. My dad died when I was eleven. When my mom and the accountant were doing taxes for that year apparently my dad was making a lot more money than my mom thought he was. He was a plumber. So We weren’t poor. He built us a beautiful home and we always had everything we needed. And he worked two jobs. But the two geniuses (mom and accountant) were sure that he must have had another family because of that discovery. Mom should have hired a PI if she wanted the truth. We lived in a small town and everyone knew everyone, and everyone knew and liked my dad. I’m sure something like that would have gotten out long before he passed. The worst part was that mom had to tell me about it at 12 or 13. How on earth was I supposed to process something like that? Now that I’m old I don’t believe it anyway. He may have had a mistress but we would have known if we had half siblings. And I suffered terribly from her wrath because I looked like my dad and have his firey Ukrainian temper. “You’re just like your father!” 👹

how come they rarely give dates/years on their stories?

That's one of the most bizarre escape tactics I've heard! Faking one's death is extreme, but pretending to have mad cow disease takes it to a whole other level. This scenario raises so many questions about the motives behind such a drastic action. Was it financial desperation, legal troubles, or something even more complex? This story would make an intriguing case study on the lengths people might go to avoid their problems.

I think he just had fun with it. He coulda married a babe, instead hooks up w an old bag who is dumb and involved her own kids in his schemes. Narcissist. Think trump.

Did True Crime Daily morph into this channel? If so - or if not - where in the world is Ana Garcia!?!???

Good question now that you mention it I haven’t seen her around in a bit and she was everywhere 🤔

Lol yes, they rebranded the name with the same kind of content tho ! They did it maybe about 2-3 weeks ago if that. Ana does a podcast for the channel too, but I only watch these!

How about not asking any viewers in here. They know absolutely nothing about what's going on. Assumptions. Speculations. Unless Ana tells you, herself.

I think that the better person (kind hearted) you are, the more succeptible you are to clever con artists. Of course you can learn to be more careful, but usually that learning comes from trusting someone too much.

What is she talking about she can't step outside LOL. You can go up to where the base senses you, 50-100 ft. And the cops typically don't pull-up like the movie Disturbia unless you're a high risk and or continue to go out of range.

How come she has to pay for everything when they proved she had fallen in a trap. They should put him to work in jail to pay for his crime. There are people out there who can fool anyone. I have seen many cases of scammers way smarter than this guy who have stripped not one but several people, wealthy educated people, off their money. So yes I can see how he could fool her easily. But she shouldn’t have to pay for the money he stole.
