**NOTE** When choosing an Army of Renown subfaction, you lose access to your factions normal Allegiance Rules, Battle Tactics, and Grand Strategies. We'd missed this note before filming and accidentally used Grand Strats & a Battle Tactic or two that we could not have. Regardless, we hope you enjoy this first taste of Reign of the Brute!!

And you also lose access to core\warscroll batallions, aren't you? No battle regiments for ex anyway, thank you for your videos, they are so interesting to watch

@@romankondrashov7475 you can still use ones from the core rules and GHB, so Battle Regiment is still an option. It just rough for SoB as they don't fit in anything but their battletome ones.

It also means that you cannot take artefacts for SoB armies

Bosses of the Stomp is also not legal if I'm right, since it is part of the normal Tome.. I might be wrong but I thought I read this somewhere.

Great battle report and loved to see the troggs on the board. Unfortunately, you can't move objectives for this battle plan. That may have affected the outcome.

A great synergy is using the dankhold trogboss to give a reinforced unit of rockguts all out attack while trugg's rune of ghur is active. When trogbosses give tolls all out attack, the receiving unit gets plus one to attacks characteristic. With rune of ghur on a unit of 6 rockguts, that's 24 attacks at 2+ to hit, 3+ to wound, -2 rend, and 3 damage a piece.

note that in the pulse objectives can't be moved so you can't kick them with the Kraken eater

Hi first time on your chan and I love how you did this battle report ! By the way, could you please explain to me how you can make Rockgut "rejoin" at 28:47 ? Is it with Moonclan lairs? And if so, does it mean that the "5 wound" mentionned is not a total of wound in the unit but just the wounds per model in this unit?

Great game, I thought there was no chance for the Troggs. I love to know your thoughts on 1500 pts as a new tournament limit. It would put pressure on some of the top lists (Ossiarch, Soulblight) but still provide plenty of scope.

Do you think the triggherd is going to Competitive or its Just a Storyteller Army? Is it pitched battles? Sorry for the questions but dont know how to work with This Book 😅

I think the Trugg's Troggherd is strong and will be solid if you want to run all Troggs, though maybe not as strong as other Gloomspite army builds. Will take some testing to see though!
