Yes !! Gionis is a top of the top level defender, if i’m not mistaken, most choppers have changed to Short pips as a new trend due to many players not being used to it (vs Long Pips) and an increased ability to vary the spin much more.

Very clever play by Panagiotis, only the extra time added by the slow cut ball, awarded by the defensive players, gives Moregardh a chance to beat him.

Truls is so unorthodox. He has great reactions and feel but I think this lack of fundamentals is going to hurt him against the Chinese. His footwork is abysmal at times.

Truls’ specialty is hitting the ball out the table. Gionis’ mistake is chopping the balls, which helps it stay inside the table.

those shaking hips while receiving the serve made a grown man flabbergarsting right there. Knight Truls is showing weakness right there with absolute paralysing the opponent with his little dance moves. I dont know what you think, but I think those hips are ringing the knighting bells in a couple of swedish years.
