Jim Carey has always been slept on as a serious actor! He is a GENIUS. Both comedies and serious roles he absolutely nails. I love him so much.

this film was amazing, it made me realise how real this could be and that i could be living in the same situation right now. of course there’s a high chance that’s not true, but it’s the thought of it that gives me chills. (he basically just lived in a town for 20-30 years, and eventually started to realise that the town was a set and there was people watching him, so the woman in the video screams out to the camera ‘DO SOMETHING’ and it confirms his theory)

This movie freaked the living soul out of me like its not a horror film but after watching it, I became paranoid of everything like cameras so it took me a while to get that fear out of me

This movie was about that guy, he was the main character. Basically he was raided in a bubble (the entire town) and he was the main character in the true man show, his own show. Everyone in the town knew but him. The whole place was a massive set and any friends, relationships, etc that he ever made he realized were fake.

For anyone confused, he’s not the bad guy here, he’s realizing that his entire life has been a lie, it’s all a show, literally just a show, and this part of the movie is about his mental breakdown from finding out
