Former US President Donald Trump made his first public appearance after the shooting on Monday. Trump attended the RNC (Republican National Convention) in Milwaukee - where he was confirmed the nominee for the Republican party. Trump supporters have showed up in large numbers at the convention.
His confirmation as the Presidential candidate - was unanimous as well. Towards the end of his first term in office, Trump was virtually boycotted. Now, the former President is on the verge of a dramatic comeback. Palki Sharma tells you more.

I don't know if anyone paid attention, but the events over the last few days might lead to something more catastrophic and sinister than what we ever could have fathomed. The attempt on Mr. Trump's life two days ago must have been a blessing in disguise for the former president's campaign for the coming election in November 2024. Still, I don't think that Ukraine's Zelenskyy shares the same sentiments of many Americans today, knowing that while Trump's popularity skyrocketed after the attack, Trump stands a perfect chance to become the newly elected president of the United States. Mr. Trump said on numerous occasions during the last couple of months that when he becomes elected, he will cut down on financial and military support for Ukraine, and now that Senator JD Vance confirmed that during his speech today as Trump's nominated vice president, I bet Zelenskyy might feel an urgent need to take a deep swallow from a bottle of good old Russian Vodka, not to celebrate, but to calm his racked nerves. Ukraine was supposed to have a presidential election on 31 March 2024. However, it was suspended due to the current war with Russia, and Zelenskyy still refuses to step down, contrary to the Ukrainian Constitution which dictates that should a presidential election be suspended during a state of emergency, the Chairperson of Parliament should take a temporary role of leadership, until such declared state of emergency had stabilized. More than 600,000 Ukrainian soldiers lost their lives on the battlefield since February 2022, and the Russians are gaining more and more territory every day. As Senator Vance put it, the US cannot keep up with manufacturing more weapons for Ukraine, and hundreds of thousands of battle-fit men are fleeing the country, causing Ukraine to run out of soldiers. Zelenskyy is so arrogant nowadays that he demands US aid, but now it appears he will soon be thrown under the bus. Judged by his public appearances from over the last twelve months until today, his body language speaks volumes of a desperate and tired man whose time is running out. A desperate man with a monumental ego like the narcissistic Zelenskyy is very capable of doing unthinkable things when options are running out, as history taught us about men like him, for example, how Hitler chose the Final way out, instead of the humility of becoming a prisoner of war to the Russians. I wouldn't be too surprised if Zelenskyy might just choose his own manner of departure in a mushroom cloud of despair from within his hometown, and then make it look like Russia did it. This scenario might play itself out before the November 2024 US presidential election. The US under NATO would then have an excuse to 'act in self-defense' under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and call upon its NATO allies to honor their pledge of mutual defense under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, and a nuclear war may ignite that would announce the beginning of Klaus Schwap's planned 'Great Reset'. I sincerely hope I am wrong...☢
