@@kizzywizzy589 Except Sweden doesn't really have much to tariff, and our Swedish steel export + military equipment are still top grade, which Americans just loves so much. They aren't about to go into a trade war with little old Sweden that produces things they love so much just because Trump is doing a political stunt while trying to appeal to one side of the community, to save a guy who dissed his own community. Funny how that works, isn't it? For real though, look up Swedish Steel export statistics and industrial use, as well as military equipment, and you'll see why Trump can't tariff that.

The legal system is obviously less than adequate. I've watched the video. And the Swedish government has placed a bounty on non white visitors. He was followed and harassed, and defended himself from an ongoing assault. Where were the police in the entire time of the incident? Even a young woman is saying these guys were being asswipes. He lucky it wasn't me, they'd had to hide his foto. Because if I'm going to jail for three weeks or more, you'll be in the hospital at least that long and never forget it in your life.

@@Joppi1992 America is doing quite well with their own steel. But if you wish to underestimate Trump remember I told you so. Most democratic countries, even the poorest ones have separation of powers. But when it involves a serious escalation of a break in diplomatic relationship you will see how things all of a sudden conveniently resolve themselves. It might not be said explicitly in a public statement but we the public with two brain cells to rub together know exactly what happen. Separation of powers is never iron clad when it comes to diplomatic relations. Maybe between citizens but never between states.

@@ForaPhil Doesn't matter. Excessive force turns self defense into assault. Example Guy throws a punch so you break his arm = excessive force aka assault. Guy tries to stab you with a knife, so you break his arm in an effort to disarm him = reasonable force aka self defense. What they did was throw the guy to the ground, then the group set upon him while he was down by both punching and kicking him. In no way was this justifiable self defense. They had every opportunity to walk away once he was down. They could have restrained him. They could have given him a chance to walk away on his own. Instead they chose to hurt him. They intended to cause him harm. Intention to harm is not self defense.

Self-defense or not, you dont go to another country and beat someone up. The boys were 2, how many were Asaps gang? Notice the giant bodyguard? It doesnt hold for self-defense as neither of the boys had weapons. They should have contacted the authorities to assist them. Imagine doing this in some other country like Thailand or China. Stop playing the race card. Asap made a mistake and now he gotta take the consequences. I honestly dont understand how everyone can just see this from an american perspective. Maybe things work a certain way in your country, but its not the same for others. Thats why you gotta be careful of what you do. Pretty logical no? @@noless The one who is victim in this case was suspect at one point. The violence was between him and the guard. CCTV footage show the guard lifting him by the neck (possibly when the headphones broke) then the Afghan boy threw the headphones on the guard, who threw the headphones on a roof. But both of their (Afgan boy + guard) charges were dropped as the violence was less severe and throwing headphones at someone who lifts you by the neck can actually be considered self defence. The guard tried to stop the others when the serious part happened - A group of guys beating and kicking someone already down. So he's free.

The problem is, when your self defense becomes excessive and no longer proportionate to the situation(i.e kicking the shit out of the guy on the ground, when he is clearly no longer a threat), you are now the aggressor in the situation. Hence the assault charges.

After he'd been harassing them for about three blocks after Rocky told them to leave alone the woman this man and his friends were sexually assaulting.

That’s not how the law works. Still assault. In self defense you must do only what is needed to defend yourself. Any further violence is considered assault. The body guard could’ve handled the situation just fine, it’s what he’s there for. The entire group kicking a man in the street goes way too far, and was unnecessary for the situation. They all got what they deserved.
