The guy that got shot was a 50 y/o firefighter who jumped in front of his wife and daughter during the shooting and took a bullet in his head protecting them. It is extremely sad that we lost a life to this madness. Prayers to the other two hit and wounded and to DJT. It was terrible and people who are upset he missed sicken me.

When I heard that scream live, it was so raw and gut-wrenching I thought it was a mother screaming because her child got shot. When I learned it was the man who threw his body over his daughter and wife and they realized his brains were all over them I cry every time I hear it. There were so many comments from the left right after the attempt happened that wrote stuff like, "Of course there's a screaming woman! Oh the DRAMA! This was staged!" Absolutely vile.

Trumps regular SS detail was given the day off. Jill Biden needed some extra help at her party. DEI hires filling in on the SS detail. No Drones in the air. The Police officer after climbing up and seeing the shooter dropped down instead of engaging, and the SS lost track of him for questioning. They claim they didn't put a detail on that building because the slope was deemed unsafe, yet the SS sniper that took out the gunman (who watching the gunman and waited until after he fired) That SS sniper was on a building with a sloped roof. So many more issues, like they claimed the gunman acted alone but they claim they couldn't get into his phone. How did they know he acted alone then? Yeah... RIIIIIIGHT.

Something fishy is up wit the shooters identity. The age is accurate but the name is sus as hell. In July 2021 there was a criminal arrested in Scotsdale named Matthew Thomas Crooks, who was 34, the articles on him that were up for years, got taken down from google a few hours after the shooting. Sus as heck. This guy just happens to have a slightly swapped name from that guy? I feel to make it harder to actually get any answers they took that guys name, flipped it, and slapped it on the shooter to hide what really happened. Way to sus that in 2021 a game named Matthew Thomas Crooks was arrested and the articles are now almost all gone, and now this shooter is Thomas Matthew Crooks? I'm supposed to not find that odd?

What is unbelievable with this situation is that this shooter was on a nearby roof and no one saw him!! At least according to the news, a guy did see someone on the roof and reported it to the police and they just ignored it. Surely, the first thing the secret service do when they are guarding someone who is holding a rally in the open air, is they check and monitor all the roofs of the buildings round about and make sure they are clear? It's terrible that someone got killed and Trump was very fortunate not to be killed too, what a shock for him. An absolutely horrific situation, no doubt we will hear more about what happened in the days to come.

The guy was gonna point the location of the shooter out to the police, but he opened fire before it could be dug into. I also find the setting itself pretty sketchy. From what I hear, the rally wasn’t held in a stadium like they always do… it was held in an area with a lot of hills and vantage points. And while you’re right that Secret Service is *supposed* to be on top of the area days before the rally, I hear they actually *didn’t* check anything out until the day of. Given all the shit the left has tried to do to Trump - throw him in court, control him by suppressing his speech (both in court/debates and social media), and constantly painting him as a fascist (he’s doing a horrible job at it), I’m appalled, but not shocked. This whole thing reeks of a blue-sided setup.

Some supporters claim that they saw him and that they told the police and waved at the secret service for three minutes but they weren’t listened to. At the very end the blame falls on the secret service for letting someone get the high ground definitely when they had a sniper of their own out there for that very reason. This just makes the secret service look pitiful and questionable.
