Always remember that the reason Clinton was impeached was because he told a lie! One lie was viewed by Republicans at the time to be such a horrible thing for a president to do, because "the people need to be able to trust the president." Really shines a spotlight on how Republicans are hypocrites. Democratic president tells one lie = Republicans want him out for committing such a horrible offense. Republican president tells over 16,000 lies = Republicans think it's perfectly fine, he's done nothing wrong at all.

@@UncleEbenezer77 it's the constitutional job of the house to review all of the witnesses and put together a complete case prior to being adjudicated by the senate. They wanted to rush it and cut corners and wouldn't allow defence witnesses. This is not proper (If it were a family member of yours going through this you wouldn't accept it as right).They wouldn't lawfully appeal to the supreme court to get what they wanted when he refused to comply (which he is legally allowed to do) and then accused him of "obstruction of congress" (which isnt a thing by the way) so in essence it's an attempted trap. They want to rush, and not follow procedure, so they cut corners then blame him for obstruction which they intentially caused. It's all a joke. It's almost like they are trying to fail.
