I think he meant he'd never heard of or can't remember a specific one happening (in the US?) but still knew category 5 was a thing. It's very rare for a category 5 to make landfall in the US, for example. He sometimes fails to word things very well, but if we just take a second to think about what he probably meant, it's not that hard to understand.

@@adaoraelliott9254 I said making landfall in the US. Only one of those (Michael) was at category 5 when it made landfall in the US, but it was originally regarded as a 4 and then upgraded retroactively after the season. The last category 5 to make landfall in the US was in in 1992.

Hey Trevor, I love your show, I watch it daily. Please keep in mind that so far 20 people have been confirmed dead from Hurricane Dorian. This includes 5 and 8 year old children, and many other unaccounted for. Families and livelihoods have been totally destroyed. I say these things to say that I would have loved for you to take some time and really talk about this serious crisis that these people have gone through instead of making light of it. Maybe that would further encourage people to donate time and or money towards helping this nation.
