I'd like to know how Crooks was aware that he could turn up and get onto that roof. He could see the secret service snipers and probably hear people shouting that he was up on the roof. How did he know he could continue his plan? I'm not American but I don't like plot holes. The fact that the assassin knew to come to that roof and was able to take the shot because no one stopped him, doesn't make sense. It's not like the Los Vegas shooting in 2017 where the guy was far away and high up, this murderer was out in the open on a white roof in plain site. He must have checked out the area before hand. The M-16 platform was adapted from the original AR (poorly). But this guy said it was equivalent to an m-16 A-1 and that the AR is commonly known as an assault rifle. So, I still firmly believe that this expert doesn't know what he's talking about about.

@@rippleeffectspnw to make the equivalence between an AR platform firearm and the M-16A1 is truly uninformed. The A1 model was Vietnam-era and had a full-auto setting. The A2 had 3-round burst. This rifle was simply semi-auto, like ALL civilian variants of the platform. This rhetoric is used to steer public opinion. So yeah, @blakestone1432 being critical is appropriate. So basically, I’m saying…you are either uninformed, or you also have an agenda. “Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and prove it.”
