I can't stand Trump, he insults everyone and shouldn't hand it out if he's not willing to take it, but I do think we should be careful about his son, who is not yet an adult and hasn't said anything mean about anyone in public AFAIK. It's not his fault his father is using him like this, even if his father insults other people's kids I think we shouldn't say anything unpleasant about a young lad.

To me, he just looks like a sad little kid who gets dragged in front of the cameras for political ends by his parents; my experience of kids as a teacher also makes me concerned that he looks more-than-usually vulnerable. I think ALL politicians should all keep their kids away from the press and not use them as ammunition or human shields. I'd feel sorry for the kid in the longer term too, except he's going to be rich and there is also the question of the fact that apples don't fall far from trees, and in this case, neither of the trees are very nice ones, and most of trumps kids are not overtly kind to others.
