I have an old Bible with a map of ancient Palestine that span from the sea to the current border of Jordan and beautiful black and white drawings of life in ancient Palestine. Gaza and Byzantine Palestine was once the epicenter of Greek culture and Eastern Orthodox Christianity, a part of history I have always loved to study, incl. all the ancient churches on the world heritage sites in the area. After all, the first Christian communities originated from the followers of Jesus of Nazareth, Palestine and its Biblical connections with Christian Egypt, something no history revisionist can ever take away from the Palestinian people, I'm sure. I do not know much of its current cultural history (I haven't studied it, nor its conflicts throughout modern history) - but to suggest that it is time to remove the right of peaceful Palestinian people to exist is something that should be condemned. What needs to be addressed is its oppressors (Hamas, a communist faction), not ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. Where are the peacekeepers?
