My father served 22 years in the army and was prisoner of war on the Philippine island where he met my mother during their march across the island even thought I was adopted from Germany at birth I loved them as if they were my blood parents it really took a toll on my dad's mental processing after that and alcohol played a big part of his self medicating he retired at Ft.Stewart ga.in 61 and really loved the armed forces. To act like he is the only politician who spews hatred rhetoric is silly. You can go back to the 80s and 90s and see some of the wild stuff biden has said. Regardless, point is none of them, Trump, Biden, or anyone else should have to go through something like this, especially just because they dont agree politically.

I like that the first response from the trump family was from his wife. It sends a calming message that comes from the maternal aspect of life. This is very fitting. The trumps continue to show calmness through tragedy in a way we havmt seen since jfk.
