Trump is the same person today as he was two days ago. His agenda and his rhetoric is rightly criticised and held up for scrutiny. If we take trump at his word then the descriptions of him are justified and just because someone such as this person labels it "deranged" isnt necessarily so and is mire gaslighting and a way to silence people. This interviewee says the divisive rhetoric is coming from the left but only one candidate has had a judge put a legal gag on him because of his threatening language. Also caliing genuine concern "a syndrome " suggests some disease, that is if you cinsider trump a concern and you voice that concern, then you have some illness.

It's not uncommon in the US for people to register as a party member in a party that they don't agree with in order to vote in that party's primary. This is especially true for people with strongly held political beliefs. In 2024, the Democratic party's primary was particularly uninteresting. To be fair, the Republican party's primary was not exactly a barn burner either.
