It's just most of us think that a few people from Pennsylvania are outright embarrassing a legacy show that's almost 50 years old with one of the biggest budgets for tv. He would've made some coin, for sure, but I kind of think he'll garner more fame and recognition this way. I had never heard of Gillis until his firing. As soon as I heard SNL fired a new guy for A JOKE, I knew I had to find his stuff. If Shane were on with the current cast, 1) he couldn't singlehandedly make the show watchable 2) he probably wouldn't get much air time 3) he probably wouldn't get the exposure to the type of fan that likes him. I think this is one of those times that a door closed, but the path opened for him was better.

This is so funny! Side note Shane said he found it easier to do the hands and mannerisms after he got the spray tan because he was trying not to get it on his sleeves and he thinks that's what Trump really does.

@@TheKitchenerLeslie Shawn has the natural rasp, but honestly I'd put him below Shane and Jamie Foxx. Psychicpebbels has such a high pitched, extremely nasal voice I don't think his was very good. All of them have a better impersonation than me though but I've got a good ear, Gillis, Foxx, and Farash all do it better than most if not all ai programs
