Before Trump, I really considered liberalism and conservatism as too legitimate ideologies. But now I have to say that conservatism is synonymous with severely impacted reasoning skills, rather than represent something of value, like a careful approach to new things which one might see as beneficial, to even out the progressives rushing into something too fast. If nothing else, I think this is a wake up call for many people that it's not too equally reasonable and truthful (or truth-seeking) sides of one coin. It's seems like madness vs. reason.

Genes But I don't really speak about feelings or conscience. Only about what is true and what is real. I don't personally care very much about any ideology, including liberalism. I just care about what works and what doesn't, what is true and what isn't, what happened and didn't and so on. And in that sense, Trump and Fox News and Breitbart, and all the Trump supporters - are a complete catastrophe. Normal discourse is this: Liberal: 1+1=2 and 2 is not enough Conservative: 1+1=2 and 2 is way too much Whereas today we are at: Liberal: 1+1=2 Trump: That's fake news, 1+1=cat, I win, who says 2 is a paid by Jews and should go live elsewhere if he doesn't like the USA
