If it was an ordinary person, with an ordinary person's limited funds to pay lawyers the case would have been heard long before now and they'd be in prison.

In my experience, going directly to the source is the only way to make informed decisions about a subject that interests you. Listening strictly to opinionated summaries (like Ari has given us today) is how we got “stop the steal” and the J6 insurrection. It is time every bit as well spent (for some) as spending that time - say - writing and/or recording a song. I have spent many hours reading full transcripts, reports or congressional bills in order to make an informed decision and be able to express my reasoning. This is historical in that it is the first time in American history that a firmer POTUS is being tried in a criminal court. It’s important and fascinating….and admittedly sad that we have fallen so far. I follow politics because It’s my hobby. That’s what I get out of it. I’ve had other hobbies more physically challenging, but the body fails and hobbies fall by the wayside. Knowledge is forever.
