I am a Texan I speak spanish and English. It’s beautiful to know more languages I speak english when talking to a person who speaks English and spanish when speaking to a person who is speaking spanish. Why do we have to speak only English this country is a melting pot of different languages. If we are speaking the language of this country then we have to speak native americans they were here first. Soo trump has to to learn native american language. 😂😂

Our English is a collection of every language that's ever been, anyway! 😂 After all, we are The Great Melting Pot. But our laws, our Constitution is written in English. If I moved to Antalya, I would be expected to learn Italian. I wouldn't expect the entire nation of Italy to learn English just for me. If I moved to Mexico, I'd learn to speak Spanish. But for some reason, Mexicans move here and expect US to ALL learn to speak to them??? That's absurd! And extremely entitled!

@d.d.sarason8749 ...If you want to be understood, speak English. If all you want to speak is your home language, you might as well go back to your home country. In an emergency situation, knowing English can be a matter of life and death. Imagine trying to describe an emergency situation to a 911 operator, and she doesn't understand your language. In the time it takes to find someone who does speak your language, time is wasted, and the emergency could be much worse. Just realize the major benefits of knowing English...and the better you speak it, things will be easier for you. You'll actually understand what is being said to you, around you, and about you. ❤ True, it is a FREE COUNTRY...LOL !!! You came to this country. We didn't go to yours.
