Nice ! Would be cool of you draped a tarp or net on the top of that tractor cab ! I think this is gonna turn out epic! That's a cool artillery piece for sure

One way of building the thinner shield is to use tin from an old can.

Aluminum from a soda can would probably work as well. I believe it would be about the right scale thickness.

Yes, I used an old soda can to make the shields on a Panzer IV some years ago. Much more realistic than the kit supplied ones.

You could thin the edges of the shield - a bit of an optical illusion!

Great looking build. I have built that tractor before..really enjoyed it. Weird that there is no engine ,trumpeter are usually good for adding those. Keep up the good work mate.

Really interesting subject. I love artillery pieces. I must say I would prefer to do videos like you do with more of a report on the build as it goes with footage but I can't find a way to comfortably record with the little time I steal to build. I'm taking notes though. You do a great job taking the viewer with you for the build.

Time is a killer! For clarity my videos sometimes span years! This was all wrapped up build wise in August 22!
