anduins last hope to defeat deathwing the dragon lord of amargeddon, was to sacrafire his life to the only dragon which might be powerfull enough to stop deathwings plan of armageddon. but what anduin didnt knew was, that galakrond had even worse plans for the world and drowned the world in unimagineble chaos. deathwing on the other side was from this point on no longer galakronds deciple, but became the new dragonlord of the uprising century of destruction and madness.

Fun fact at 30:58: Playing the Shield here means you instantly lose to Sticky Fingers. A tech card, admittedly, but possible. Not playing the Shield means to lose to 14 burst damage from a control priest. So... nice play I guess?

I am just playing a very control style of big warrior and it feels pretty good, went this season from bronze to plat 4 in about 4 days. (Maybe not that impressive but I started playing mid season this month so didnt have much time to climb ladder yet)

Since I don't have Rattlegore I replaced him with Galakrond and took out a sword and baord for Kronx. I know It defeats the +2 armor gain each turn, but hitting face for 3 ought to do the trick against control also. If galakrond turns into a dead draw I will replace it with Zephy

Last priest should have used one of his ten turns to calculate the result with just waiting it out and realized that he is the aggressor. Playing Galakrond immediately would have netted him something like 8 extra cards over Trump. The kill effect of Galakrond didn't matter since Trump didn't need to do anything to win. In fact playing the Bulwark at the end there could have lost him the game theoretically.

@Hadi Ali I don't agree. Trump had 10 cards in hand and the priest had 10 turns to apply pressure. Also priest could have got cards that shuffle cards into his deck. The difference in the end was 14 health.

7:36 why didn't Trump taunt the rattlegore with more health and a deathrattle that helps him maintain board, and instead taunted a 4 health minion that he was going to rush into something else anyways? I know it helps the kargath survive, but wouldn't throwing a bigger taunt out there be more important since his primary goal in this matchup is to just survive (especially since he already has rattlegore out to wittle down the priest)

James Mui i disagree. Taunting the 4/4 gave him a “free” 4/2 as opposed to just giving a minion taunt. He had enough health left that just getting the extra body on board is better

He was at 31 health and the priest could drop him to 24 at most, and trump had a bulwark in hand. With 1 card in hand it was pretty much a won game, unless the priest stole the rattlegore (in which case buffing it would have been worse, but either way would have won him the game). Both targets for the buff would have killed at most one extra student. It could be argued that buffing rattlegore was better, and perhaps it was, but it would be by such a narrow margin that it wouldn't have mattered in any realistic situation. Trump was going to win either way, and any cards the priest could use to pull back the game such as mind control would make the difference in buffed target irrelevant.

@@adriankuester4605 The only factor that mattered in that match was Trump's health, as if he has enough health the priest had no chance of ever winning, and how does the 4/2 help that? The priest's only win condition was aggro wack face and so how does having the extra 4/2 end up being better than forcing the priest to attack razorgore? I haven't played hearthstone in nearly a year (I quit, it was too time consuming), so feel free to tell me if I'm wrong.

What would he be blocking? There is not any big charge Minions in Standard. Just big taunt because big taunt doesn’t really do anything. Better to have a stronger board.
