@1:04 you can also do this without spending the EX! If you do L, H after Light flip it'll give you the same knockdown to combo into level 3, saving you the meter. Hope this helps other Trunks players!

With the flip loops, you can do it with a 5l instead of 5m because the timing is less strict And until we get rollback you may as well use the 5l because it’s not worth dropping the combo online And you’re doing it to flex anyway, the dmg is hardly significantly higher than a basic super dash 5h combo Also, if you’ve used up your shining slash (236) to start your loops, after you do the light back flip into aerial ki blast, you can do the medium black flip and dragon rush immediately Trunks is like the only character who can solo dragon rush to end a combo without meter spent But it must be done with the ki blast after the backflip move because it’s actually a unique move with its own longer stun A normal arial ki blast won’t work with this
