isn't it a Neodymium magnet on the stock speakers? which is kind of a super magnet. That is why its light weight compared to regular Ferrite magnet speakers.

So a person at Team-BHP actually went and checked the serial numbers of these speakers and... surprise surprise... they're authentic Sony speakers. Just because they don't have Sony branding plastered all over them doesn't mean they're not authentic bro. You need to understand these speakers are meant to be heard not seen.

He wants to install speakers that will rock and shake the car whenever a high bass song is played 😂. Normal people are satisfied with the output of xuv700 speakers. It's just a chapri thing to install high bass aftermarket speakers rather than being satisfied with the ones that the company provides.

Stock speakers are 'specifically' designed with respect to the 'source' ie. the amplifier/head unit of the car. Their weight or construction are then proportionate to their output. There's no upper limit to go the audiophile way and integrate aftermarket speakers for better sound staging and output. You punctured a perfectly good set of speakers for no fault. If you want audiophile quality sound, first get a high end head unit, then a class D amplifier, DSP unit, and then come the speakers. Fire it up with a lossless cable and then sit back and enjoy the drive.

Yep. A regular pankaj will think that xuv700's stock speakers are bad. They trashed these speakers. I'm no master audiophile but it xuv700's stocks sony system sounded crystal clear and bass tight and punchy.

You are absolutely correct. The man who is making the blog has no idea about audio whatsoever. The best speakers these days are having smaller magnets with lots of power. Good speakers were unnecessarily destroyed.

That "panni" or the plastic sheet you are referring to as "sound damping", is actually meant for water proofing and sealing all the electric components in the door. It is vital to replace it once removed for modifications.

Coming to weight of speakers. Cheap quality magnets are heavy and neodymium magnets are very heavy in terms of magnetic flux density, not material weight/mass. And this guy just judges it from the weight of speakers termed it to "build quality". Insane.

The Sony speakers are actually really, really good! They are made exactly as per the specifications of the car and provide adequate sound. Agar aapko car ke andar party karni hai then its a different story.

The magnets used in these sony speakers are neodymium magnets which are twice stronger than normal ferrite magnets for smaller size so weight does'nt matter much in sound quality of that speaker and also sony has spent a lot on research on those speakers rathar than any aftermarket product .It is sure that his car will rattle overtime .

Guys, please be careful when you say this video has some quality content. You visit any third grade accessory shop and you will get exactly this content. These kind of customers has made the music component industry so damn expensive. Vikas, i suggest please read and understand basics of these components else everytime u visit this shop he will sell a diff brand with 30% increase in cost. Most importantly take some responsibility towards ur subscribers who enabled u buy 2 cars in a span of 3 months 😂

You need to understand that a neodymium speaker weighs about 50% less than other speakers without giving up power or tone. So even if the Sony speaker was lighter, the sound would not be lacking.

Bro, iPhone ka speaker kabhi dekhna khol ke, it is the lightest but its quality is the best in the world. How HEAVY the speaker is doesn't have anything to do with its quality. Measure the output, speaker size etc don't fall for gimmicks.

We trust Sony for their high quality speakers. Highest infact. If you have an issue with the speakers at least play them and point out the issue you're having. Mahindra, also known for their quality is providing the best, latest technology speakers, so please don't apply some ignorant logic to make a non existent point about how the speakers are not good quality.

Aapko pata hona chahiye that a Neodymium speaker (like the Sony one in XUV) will always be significantly lighter than the one you installed. That's the whole point of it.

Another case of thinking you know everything when you actually done. Sony speakers are Neodymium speakers and Morrel are Ferrite magnet speakers. Big difference in weight will be there. Quality can only be assessed if you actually go into the tech specs and do a sound test. Poking holes in the speaker is not the solution. Please learn these things before your next review.

A more objective comparison would have been if you recorded the performance of the speakers side by side and let the viewers judge for themselves. By making comments about how the speakers are made of paper (all speakers are, btw) you've only proven that you know very little about what makes speakers good.

Unless you want the car to rattle and shake whenever you play a song, the speakers provided by the company is more than enough. I've tested the 12 speakers of xuv700, and frankly to me I was impressed by the 3D sound.

The stock speakers had neodymium magnets, which are much more powerful and compact. Bada hai to better hai doesn’t apply here. This is what happens if people don’t know the intricacies.

Paper cone speaker are best in the segment they give soft and soothing sound when there were no machines to make speaker the speaker were used to be handmade paper cone speaker . And a factory made speaker which is used in cars it's not necessary to put a branding on .

Heavy speakers doesn't mean better quality there are many different type of frequencies which speaker can handle as they are designed Light speaker are mostly designed for mid and high range you are installing just to make noise not to feel the proper music
