The disciples showed an attitude of selfish ambition that desired status and honor, while Jesus displayed a humble attitude of service. Alistair Begg teaches us that it will take a decisive, costly sacrifice - a ransom - to set us free from self-centeredness: the atoning sacrifice Christ made on the cross.

Mark 10:45 was the first verse I memorised, so it's great to hear Pastor Begg preaching from it.

I’ve really enjoyed this talks on Marks gospel by Alistair. I hope he will keep going on in preaching the good news all the rest of the days,of his life. Alistair makes the word alive in my life & makes me look forward more to our Lords return.😊
