Tidak ada kemuliaan tanpa penderitaan. Bergembiralah kalau kita menghadapi berbagai-bagai pencobaan, karena itu tidak sebanding dengan kemuliaan yang Allah janjikan. Penderitaan sebagai sarana pendewasaan kita untuk mengubah karakter kita agar kita layak masuk kerajaan Allah. Dunia hanyalah hunian sementara, dunia kekal kita adalah kerajaan Allah. Kebahagiaan dunia ini terbatas dan tidak sempurna, jangan mengikat hati kita dengan kenikmatan dunia. Bergembiralah kalau kita menderita demi kemuliaan Tuhan. Penderitaan sebagai evaluasi diri untuk tetap di jalan yang benar.
