What the other guy said. You get like 50-200 bucks for listening and giving your honest opinion. There are worse ways to make money. Like being a gunea pig for drug tests or some virus injection. They pay you 5-15k and youre isolated in a room for 1-2-3 weeks. You may come out unharmed or you may not walk right ever again. It's all in the waiver you sign before they inject you with whatever.

I love that they have a formula on how to punish each Joker: Sal is put in uncomfortable social situations. Murr is put against his worst fears. Q is mentally and physically tortured. Joe is shown off like a circus freak.

Overall implying he's slept with crystal, the bride, especially with the emphasis by "I should know" (as opposed to most others) , which turned it from being taken as an innocuous comment to innuendo

They do tell the people who got involved in the punishment, just like one ep where q got to be ajerk in parking lot, the staff would chase them in the end to release the agreement. The people that you see with face agree to sign the release form, the blurred one doesnt

I find it hard to believe they can do much of anything present day without being recognized. I think some of the people they interact with just play along so they can be on the show and meet the jokers. That's the only drawback to their success.
