Brendon Hough “That’s women for you” hahaha! I hope that isn’t truly your experience with all women, lol, that would be bad. Anyway, back to the original comment, yikes, I understand she wanted to keep her composure thinking it was his invention and all, but my huge animal loving, vegan heart wouldn’t have been able to. Then again, I also don’t think with this specific product, I would have been quite as gullible. Some of the clips amaze me, that people actually think it could be real, while other clips are a little more realistic. Credit where credit is due though, aside from him being a magician, he could be a fantastic salesperson. If anyone could do it, I think this guy actually might be able to sell ice to an eskimo. He really gets people doubting their own intelligence from what it looks like.

I have worn a watch less than 10 times in my life, but sometimes when I say something like "let's meet about", I look at my wrist as if a watch is there. i don't know why. sometimes when someone asks me the time i look to my wrist and give an approximation based off of the last time I looked at a clock and knowing what I have done since then... Though in this case, I think @zero cool is correct.

This trick is SUPER easy to pull off. It was first invented by "The Imperial" Chuck LaDang in 1955. The beauty of it is that there are no "magic" props involved. Here's how it works: Right when Michael closes the sides of the machine, the camera cuts. What we don't see is where Michael woos her, marries her, and has two children with her: one boy and one girl. Next, Michael stages a kidnapping, sending the girl to live with a friend in Kentucky. The wife, devestated, takes her own life, so the young boy never learns how his parents met. Instead he's raised up to be a magician like his father, where he eventually learns one his dad's best tricks: The magical Chicken Contraption. Meanwhile, Michael stays in correspondence with his friend, who, 25 years later, sends his country-fied "daughter" to help on the set of a new celebrity-endorsed product. Michael Jr. stages the scene just like his dad had it, right to the moment where the doors are closed on the machine (this time with the cooked chicken in it). A seamless edit, and we're back! Okay, now how do we get back to the live chicken? Simple: we return to the original shoot from 1990, and the doors are opened to reveal a chicken that never went anywhere. The shock on the girl's face is due to Shaquille O'Neal's presence in the room, not any "magic" trick.
