Another commercial from the 80's....
I can't believe how sucked in to the graphic's we were then...
What the hell does this company do?

I vaguely remember these! At first I was like "TRW?, never heard of 'em" but once I saw the commercial, I know I've seen it before. Thanks for posting!

Full name then Thompson Ramo Woolridge. They don''t do anything, they do things unto you.

It was an initialism that no longer stood for anything by the time this commercial aired. It originally stood for Thompson-Ramo-Wooldridge, formed by the merger of Thompson Products, an Ohio-based manufacturer of automotive engine parts, and Ramo-Wooldridge, an early aerospace company formed by two veterans of Hughes aircraft. TRW veterans later helped to form Space Exploration Technologies, Inc - aka "SpaceX".

The current trw is merging with a german company ...no longer an american name.

+Justin Fencsak It is the current largest credit reporting agency Experian. They can ruin your life boiled down to a number that is nearly pure BS and no accountablily. But your FICO score lives and dies by their data [and errors] more than the other two BS companies [Equifax and TransUnion [crooks all].

@@clasystems another former division took the TRW name, TRW Automotive. The original TRW was also involved in aerospace.
