I love that they included the part on the day of the What Happened video where Rachel asks if they meditated and Keith and Zach are just like “RACHEL NO I DONT HAVE THE MENTAL SPACE RN”… it really normalizes that life sometimes gets in the way and sometimes we REALLY don’t want to do the self-improvement thing but that’s ok. It’s still important to try.

The book promo image with ned cut out saying "404 not found" was the best bit honestly, the jabs at ned in their recent videos & podcasts are everything & the way they do it is creative without doing it directly so they don't get into any legal trouble while still expressing their anger in a comedic way which is so them I love it

Tip for Rachel: my mom used to do "dream journeys" with me as a kid which was really just visualization meditation (and probably a way to make me shut up) and I loved it :) It's part of why I picked up meditation again as an adult. She would make me picture things for example "picture that you're walking through a forest" and then my imagination would make up a story. Keep it vague enough that you don't make the story *for* them, but give prompts to move forward, like an obstacle, crossroads, different landscapes etc.

“The lifespan of an emotion is only 90 seconds. That means that an emotion lives in our bodies and minds for 90 seconds but what keeps them alive is our thoughts and feelings surrounding that emotion, how we’re responding and relating to that emotion.” -Dora Kamau How insightful. Yes, anxiety is the hardest for me to "let go" of sometimes, but the most "normal", ironically. And of course those were more normal than anxiety extending obsessive panic, fear, and stress.

I used to have panic attacks, one time I got one at my psyc appointment and she told me "the body can't hold onto that stress for long. If you can keep your mind calm the attack will pass in a minute because it is physically impossible to stay stressed. What happens is you get an attack, you get scared, your fear triggers a new attack and the cycle goes on" ever since I had 2 more and simply told myself "the body can't hold it" and it passes in 10 seconds both times. Anyway also meditation helps with holding onto that thought and being kinder to yourself so try it out I guess

I think we should have a video where everyone at Second Try brings out a musical instrument they can play and hand out kazoos or tambourines to those who can't, and have a jam session. Music is therapy for the soul. Thanks for having Rachel in an ep! I love it when she's a part of the fun. Aww her girls are around the same age as mine. They grow so fast.

this video suddenly has extra value and depth now that we know in which period this was filmed. Zach telling that "it's the hardest day of his life" means so much more with context. Because of what the Try Guys have shared with us about that period, I look at these videos with compassion as well as having fun. I find it admirable that they have taken up the subject of meditation during this period. Thanks for sharing this way guys! I really appreciate it and makes me feel that I can sympathize and enjoy your experiences!

I’m so glad Rachel was able to be such a supportive mom to her boys through the most stressful time they’ve had to go through. Sept 26 I think was the day before they kicked Nedward to the curb publicly. It was interesting to see a behind the scenes of the day they filmed their group video addressing it. I’m glad Kwesi has been a support system too. He’s been working with them since Buzzfuzz. He’s family. ❤️

I love sponsored videos like this. It shows that the brand cares about their partnership with the creator rather than just throwing money at whoever will read their scripted ad segment. I'm way more likely to patronize a brand when they put this much effort into their sponsorships. Also the fact that they were making this video while everything was going down with you-know-what is either very well planned on their part or a hilarious coincidence.

I absolutely loved every minute of this! But I just really wanted to thank y’all for the opportunity at the end of the video.. when I saw the code and 60 day free trial I literally started to cry. I just got out of the hospital less than two hours ago because of a chronic issue that’s gotten really bad for me this year. I’m only 20, as of a few months ago, and I’ve had to give up everything because of this illness.. I can’t work, I had to quit school, every opportunity that pops up and I try to take feels like it’s almost immediately shot down by me getting sick again. I went from being the girl who shocked guys with how strong she was (I worked with horses and on a cattle ranch) to barely being able to walk across a room on my own. It’s been so hard mentally.. and the medical bills have already gotten so bad and the only treatment causes more issues long term.. so really thank you so much for the opportunity you just gave your viewers. You have no idea how much it means to me and how thankful I am. Everything y’all do is amazing. You’re amazing. Your videos are one of the few things I look forward to on a consistent basis. Thank you so much for everything y’all do ❤️

If the headspace works out for you, you can try some other apps after the trial period is over. Some of them are cheaper or have more free meditations than headspace. I personally like simple habit, but the headspace is good too. And there are also some free meditations on KZfaq. I hope you'll feel better soon and the life will get easier for you!

Supporting Miovic, greetings from Germany (we have healthcare for every citizen). There are people who got out of similar situations, but you have to be very strong mentally to get there. Learn from them, maybe think about an emotional support animal (dogs are great for that, but it can be any domestic animal, really.)
