As someone that works at a dog rescue, I really appreciate that Kimbop is different than what Eugene thought but he still kept him. The amount of dogs that are returned because of this (even years later) is devastating.

my dog when i got her they told us she was calm and reserved. she is the most energetic goober i’ve ever had. i love her to pieces and she is my baby. even though she wasn’t what i expected i’d never give her up for anything

Agreed! Animals are just that, animals. They are unpredictable and won’t always fit perfectly in your family. You have to be understanding and ready for this commitment. I wish more people realized how traumatic it is to be put back in shelter for these reasons.

This is why shelters should immediately disclose any behavioural issues or quirks. It will just stress the dog more to go through the heartache of being returned, and I think it wouldn't be an easy decision on the owner who feels like they failed the dog.

I was told my dog is very reserved, shy, and quiet. She’s my little baby psychopath and runs laps around the living room everyday and tramples me if I’m laying on the couch. I like her tho.

If this gets seen - To train Bowie out of barking when people come to the door, instead of stopping the reaction you can teach him to change his response. When theres someone at the door ask him to go get a toy. Spend some time conditioning the sound of a knock/doorbell to the response. If they go and get a toy they cant stand and bark, but they still get to do something to show how excited they are that someone has come to see them ❤

I love the try guys but did not care for this video. "He looked to me being in a mode of transportation." Then listed off multiple modes of transportation and finally like...."Has he been on an airplane?"...Also I have lived with cats my entire life and I could have "read" Alfred just as good as she did. I am very open minded but this was just insane.

My best friend was born psychic and he can read a stranger just by looking at a picture of them. I have shown him pictures of close people in my life he doesn't know anything about and hasn't met yet and he has read them like an open book. He has left me in shock by the amount of details he has revealed about those people that only I know about. They are 100% accurate. Humans are ignorant and tend to mock what is unknown to them, but spiritual gifts I have witnessed first hand are definitely not science fiction. Humanity is just not at a point yet where they can understand or believe in spiritual gifts, because they're still living so much in their ego that they refuse to use their intuition.

Because psychics don’t always meet people in person to read them. They connect through the energy that resides in objects or photos. It’s just how it works. Not everything is easily explained when it comes to energy or spirit. Many real and professional psychics only use photos. The photos capture more than you think. But you are free to think and believe as you want. I am just trying to help you understand more about the use of photos.

Through photos they can have people from all over the world pay them for some lies. "Many other scammers also do it like that" is not at all an argument against this one being a scam. Which she is.

The photo + a name is to make sure your connecting to the correct animal! You use energy and a few other things to connect properly! I am an animal healing practitioner and use similar techniques except actually healing emotional and physical parts not just communication! Hope that helps!

Keith: A sudden/drastic change in a cat's (Or any animal's behaviour), you should go to a vet. When our cat got ridiculously hungry and going for the trashbag/our food, we took him in and found out he had hyperthyroidism. I'm also really disappointed that the woman did not do a disclaimer that she was not a licensed veterinary behaviorist, aka someone who's gone to school for years to learn various animal's behaviors. But after hearing how she basically does a seance with the pet's photo and wasn't even with them for the psychic 'talk'... Well, I hope people know the difference between spending money for fun vs. spending it for actual usefulness.

@@PhatAsss Psychics use tactics called hot read and cold reading. Cold reading is using general information to make it seems like it's about a specific person - like saying "I sense that there is a browned haired person in your life that makes you very happy" - this is extremely generalized. Brown hair is the most common hair color on the planet, so statistically speaking, there is SOMEONE in your life with brown hair that makes you happy in SOME capacity. Then you have hot reading, which is something that can be easily done with the guys - hot reading is researching information about a person before performing the read. Getting information about their pets off of instagram, for example, is easy. She would have been booked beforehand, so she would of had plenty of time to research the pets before ever appearing on camera.

Just for the record, schools of fish use a mix of their eyes and their lateral line system to school efficiently. It's not intuition, just a heightened sense of where other fish are and how the water is moving around them. It's pretty fascinating!

This is every_ psychic but yeah her cold reading is particularly unpolished and obvious. Also guess that a pet will have a lot of their owner's personality (calm, anxious, energetic, etc.). And her reading that Zach was going to have kids and then him being like 'no' and she just doubled back.

Obviously because there are lots of pets that don't like strangers. With the way she is speaking it sounds as if she is friends with all of them. When she met them after "communicating" they should have at least recognized her but all of them ignored her in favour of their owners and treats. In the best case she watched all their pet content and interpreted their behaviour. In worst case she just used the picture, the petstereotypical behaviour and attitude of the owners.

My best friend was born psychic and he can read a stranger just by looking at a picture of them. I have shown him pictures of close people in my life he doesn't know anything about and hasn't met yet and he has read them like an open book. He has left me in shock by the amount of details he has revealed about those people that only I know about. They are 100% accurate. Humans are ignorant and tend to mock what is unknown to them, but spiritual gifts I have witnessed first hand are definitely not science fiction. Humanity is just not at a point yet where they can understand or believe in spiritual gifts, because they're still living so much in their ego that they refuse to use their intuition.

Cats (likely other animals too if they have empathy) will get in your business because they want to be apart of what you are doing. They also try to mirror. They're not sitting on a laptop just because it's warm, but because they want to be apart of what you seem to be so interested in. They are a lot like kids in that respect. If your animal is being intrusive, set up a comfy place for them to sit at the same height to what you are doing while you work (Same goes for more dangerous house hold stuff, like while cooking if they're prone to try to get on the counter. A chair a safe distance away and when safe, letting them sniff what you make and work with goes a long way to preventing them from being like "Ohh, what's that? What's this? What's that?" when they shouldn't or when it's even dangerous.). Bonus if you make the space look like what you work with, IE a pillow made for the animal that looks like a laptop or writing space.

I really liked Ellie in the cow hugging video, the way she values animals is really beautiful and you can tell she's extremely passionate about what she does at Gentle Barn, but I've never been one to believe in psychics. As long as she is promoting the owners to take better care of their pets and isn't hurting anyone or their pets, I don't really have any issues with it. EDIT: apparently she will take advantage of grieving people to communicate with pets that passed away, and that is not a fun and silly way to spend quality time with your pet, so that sucks.

Because your hand and or dinner plate doesn't push against their whiskers. I don't want to be a hater. It's just... Harmful to take this type of approach towards animal care. You feel validated by the anwser, " your food just smells too good, I can't resist!" . Naw man, your cat is getting older and the nerve pain from the bowl is getting unbearable. Feed him from a heavy plate or a shallow large bowl, being careful as animals tend to stand on the plate with their paws. Regular human dinner plates tend to be heavy enough, push onto it to test it does not flip with some weight.

My best to little Emma, hope she's coping well despite her health issues. I loved that the guys (as always) gave this a try and especially seeing Eugene again is so great. However, I will say, that while this lady no doubt does provide a lot of care to animals, that's just about it. She isn't communicating with your pet in the way that she wants you to believe and your pet isn't talking to her. Even if it were possible to do that I highly doubt she would be able to do so simply by looking at a picture of them. The story of her telling a woman not to leave her husband because her 'dog said so' gives me similar vibes as human psychics telling you they can connect you to your passed loved ones. It may make a person feel better momentarily, but it's fraudulent in nature and can very easily take advantage of vulnerable people. Love you guys, but I really wish you had considered a more scientific approach to understanding pet behaviour.

Psychics are feel good services to be told things that are made up or generalized. It often also takes advantage of people who are genuinely seeking closure or sometimes unhealthy attachment to those they've lost. it's predatory in the way it works, more so when people believe it's literal magic. They're also incredibly overpriced. A lot of people argue that it's not hurting anyone, but it is. Feeling good through absolute lies isn't a healthy way to move past something in grief. Talking to a therapist about it would be much better, as at that at least has peer reviewed evidence in it's efficacy, even though a lot of therapy is both a combination of understanding what we know so far about the human psyche and also understanding people in general and giving off an environment and "vibe" that purports someone to feel like they can open up about whatever is bothering them or talk at all. And at it's heart, unless they declare that this is an entertainment service and not to be taken seriously, it is literally a con, because they have no way to prove that the service they offer is real. It's depressing the people defending it in the comments, not to mention off putting when they do the "very high IQ" equivalent of not understanding the "non-physical world"

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, that they believe that they're feeling something. But there were some noticeable mind tricks she used. I like how she wasn't trying to "fix" anything, she was just telling them how the animals felt or what they were thinking. Bowie thinks he's good on the leash, Alfred likes the smell of human food, Kimbop wants attention. It's easy to assert an opinion on somebody who can't confirm or deny it, especially if it tracks with the human's thoughts, as well. The most obvious thing is that these guys are fairly public about their lives and we've all seen their pets and how they interact with them in videos or on Instagram or wherever else they're all public. Even if she did go into this never having seen a Try Guys video or post, it would be hard to prove that, so it's not plausible evidence of her abilities.

I'm sure she really does loves animals, and she probably needs the supplemental income, because owning and running a farm is NOT cheap, but convincing her client to not leave her husband because the client isn't "trying hard enough" or because the pet would be upset is an extremely harmful and manipulative tactic! She also used a lot of standard "psychic" tricks, like giving multiple options for the mode of transportation and then immediately confirming it was a plane when Zach nodded and mentioned that Boey had been on planes before. Asking if Keith had a home office, and when that was confirmed stating definitively that Alfred was showing her the home office. Also just by looking at the pictures themselves tells her a lot about the animal. A large domestic short-haired cat, probably isn't going to be the most active or unruly. Australian Shephards are a very outgoing breed that were bred to want to be in control of their surroundings. Kimbop is a terrier mix, terriers are very active and inquisitive. These traits are not difficult to figure out, and if she's wrong she can just change the topic or add multiple options until she finds a trait that the client agrees on.

My mom's dog ran away a few years ago. She got so desperate she contacted a pet physic. The physic said that she could see that the dog was under a pine tree with a white house in the background. My mom lived in rural Ontario, half the trees were pine, and half the houses were white birch cabins.

I genuinely think pet psychics are (least kind interpretation) scammers taking advantage of grieving pet owners or (most kind interpretation) people using ritual to comfort pet owners because they can't get the same kind of 'closure' you can with a person's last words or will. That being said, everyone has their own beliefs, and no one is "wrong" about it, I just get a little "yeah sure jan" about faith and spiritualism when money becomes involved. All that said, I still watched the video bc I heard Eugene and his dogs were in it and I miss seeing them gklsjgkldslsklfgj so the real spineless one here is me

@@yugenknows740 Church doesn't charge you to get in the door though... Although I do agree church can be scammy too, I grew up in Alabama and some of the megachurches were EXTREMELY financially motivated in an obvious way that made me feel similarly uncomfortable.
