America's Got Talent (AGT) is a popular talent competition show that has been on the air for over 15 years. The show features a panel of judges, including Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel, who decide which contestants will move on to the next round. In the 2023 season, the judges will be using their Golden Buzzers to send their favorite acts straight to the semifinals. The first Golden Buzzer of the season will be awarded tonight, so be sure to tune in to see who it goes to!

Heidi Klum is a German supermodel and television personality who is known for her fashion sense and her love of children. She has been a judge on AGT since season 8.
Howie Mandel is a Canadian comedian and actor who is known for his warm personality and his ability to connect with contestants. He has been a judge on AGT since the show's first season.
The Golden Buzzer is a special button that each judge can press to send their favorite act straight to the semifinals. The Golden Buzzer has been used to send some of the most memorable acts in AGT history to the next round, including Grace VanderWaal, Darci Lynne Farmer, and Kodi Lee.

I think Kelly Clarksons song is even sadder now to watch her sing it bc at the time she was in love with her husband and wrote it about him and she expected him to be different than her dad and he ended up taking half of their assets, vacation homes, etc in the divorce. She got screwed once again and it’s just sad to see how happy and hopeful she was then vs now. Her husband turned out to be another douchebag!

The sad thing about suicide is the pain and sadness inside the person experiencing it...and the shame of even considering suicide and the fear on top of all those already big feelings and worrying you're crazy and not being able to talk about it....and tricking yourself into thinking because of a this you're not good enough...especially for the people you love so dearly....and ultimately thinking they'd be better off without you and the "burden" you "are"......that sadly...in reality is only think you are...its not true....people would *love* to help....but pride and fear are strong feelings to conquer....and its usually the wall that keeps people from getting help. I understand the "unforgivable"....but its also..."understandable"....it needs to be....so we can help the rest who get stuck there

It occurs to me that a genuine, weepy, sad story can be all those things, but massively cynical when used to manipulate judges/viewers emotions into making us root more for these singers than if they turned up and went "hey, yeah, I've been working so hard on being an entertainer - no sob stories, just years of hard work playing pub toilets, crowds of 2 deaf old men etc, paying my dues so I could turn up here and try my luck at being packaged into a (mostly brief, but reasonably lucrative) music product which will sell you loads of gig tickets, merch tickets and albums". This is not to say those with the sad stories haven't also done that, and using the sad story as a merchandising tool is brilliantly effective so I can see why it's done. But it's also horribly cynical.
