Greg Gutfeld is a popular option for many despite the controversy he creates. He’s opinionated without being dry. He started as a journalistic writer. That led him to work with several magazines until he was able to get behind the camera. Fox hired him as a host for several shows. There was a bit of drama behind the scenes, but the viewers loved him. He was a popular enough anchor to get not one but two shows of his own.

They had a shaky start but eventually eclipsed their competitors. Greg was the voice that many Americans wanted to hear. He managed to be both an anchor and a comedian. He always delivered his strong opinions in a satirical way. It almost feels a bit like watching a variety show of the Old Hollywood Age, but with a harder edge. He’s taken aim at many of the issues he believes pervade our country. For example, he coined the term reverse racism. He also talks about gun control, pokes fun at the president’s son, and talks about global conflicts.
His comments have gotten him in deep water. He once offended an entire country when he joked that someone should invade Canada while its military was taking a break after losses from the fighting in Afghanistan. It was such a heavy hit that he publicly apologized. Greg does find ways to let loose when he’s not delivering the news. He enjoys listening to heavy rock music. He’s also found true love in a surprising place.

@@michaelminor77 the only thing about Gutfeld is he knows he's bad and has that bad Dad joke energy, Plus, he's never claimed to be a comedian. Stewart is supposedly some comic genius, Never saw it even when he has a comedy show on MTV in the prehistoric time when they they actually played music videos. When I did watch Gutfeld's show it was just for the guests. I'd fast forward to whenever they talked. It sure made a show easy to watch. Usually took 10 to 15 minutes at the most to slog thru a broadcast.

@@jeffreysmith694 I think he has a sardonic sense of humour - much like mine. I notice on his show many miss the sometimes obscure punchline. He does better on the Five as his co-panelists are well read - in the main. Most of his responses are well thought out and provoking and I agree he has a quick burning fuse temperament, but quickly recovers and tries to put a band aid on.

Gutfeld stands alone. Guts, funny, Daring, and often spot on. Kat and Cyrus are exceptional. Great chemistry too. It's one of very few go-to shows on TV. Outside KZfaq which I can pick and choose through, there's not much of interest on TV that isn't some form of propaganda.

Greg is one of the funniest people I've ever heard. He's incredibly intensively quick-witted. In order to be that quick whitted you have to be emotionally calm and incredibly smart. You go Greg! I watch his show regularly. He is very critical of President Biden and the Dems, but soft on Trump and MAGA. Kat is on his show 99% of the time. Her contributions on his show are mediocre. Does he have a soft corner for her? I challenge him to invite Jessica Tarlov on his show.

My favorite late-night show host would have to be Greg Gutfeld. I watch his show every night when it comes on. I love his sense of humor, but my mom doesn't. She says that Greg "is too silly" for her taste. I guess she is a more no-nonsense individual than I am. I am also a Conservative like Greg is (I always vote Republican), and it makes me happy having someone of my party be in the limelight.
