CRIPPLED DOES NOT MEAN DOOMED OR PITIFUL!!! I recued a kitten at 6 weeks and umbilical cord was wrapped around her hips. The owner told me he was hoping hoping she would just die becsuse he couldnt afford a vet bill. I raised her and she never fully developed below her waist and back feet fell off. She was calico with long hair which was PERFECT because I have hardwood floors so she just slid her way on her butt. She had already figured out to move around, because she never knew the difference! In her mind, she was normal! She outlived every rescue cat I have ever had! Probably because I spoiled her rotten! She died in my arms 2 weeks ago on New Year's Eve. She was 20 YEARS OLD!! 12/31/23. The way I see her is that she was blessed more than most animals. I know I was blessed to have her in my life.❤

@emreberk Thank you for such nice words! I was born and raised a farmgirl and it seems I was always taking on the feeble crippled and runts, begging my dad to let me try first, instead of putting them down. Some habits are hard to break 🤷♀️🙆♀️🩷
