Materials
For the cake;
3 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tea glass of milk (125 ml)
Half a tea glass of oil (60 ml)
1 packet of baking powder
1 packet of vanilla
2 cups flour
250 g spinach (1 glass of spinach puree)
Half a tea glass of hot water (to cook the spinach)
For the inner filling;
2 packs of pastry cream
2 cups cold milk (400 ml)
2 small bananas
For decoration;
pomegranate seeds
Preparation of
First of all, wash 250 g of spinach thoroughly and put it in a pot.
Let's boil our spinach for about 1-2 minutes by adding half a tea glass of hot water. At this stage, you do not need to boil them too much; it will be enough for them to lose their firmness and soften slightly.
Let's transfer the boiled spinach to a rondo. Let's blend it until it becomes a complete puree. You can add a little water if necessary to make the job easier while rinsing.
For the cake of our cake, let's take 3 eggs and 1 glass of sugar into the mixing bowl. Let's beat it with a mixer until it turns white and becomes foamy.
Let's add 1 tea glass of milk, half a tea glass of oil and the spinach puree we prepared. Let's mix all the ingredients again with the mixer.
Finally, add 2 cups of flour, 1 pack of baking powder and 1 pack of vanilla to the mixture and beat with a mixer.
After pouring the cake mixture we prepared onto the baking tray lined with baking paper, let's spread it evenly all over with a spatula.
Let's leave our cake to bake in the oven preheated to 170 degrees for about 25 minutes.
Let the cake we take out of the oven rest until it reaches room temperature, then turn it upside down and peel off the paper.
Let's shape our cake into circles with a mold or glass. I got 16 cakes with these measurements. This number may vary depending on the size of the apartments.
To decorate our cake, let's transfer the remaining cake pieces around the edges to the rondo. Let's grind it until it becomes finely crumbled.
Let's first spray the cake cream on the cakes we cut. You can prepare the pastry cream according to the recipe on the back.
You can place bananas or seasonal fruits on top of the cream, if desired.
Let's cover the fruits by spraying cream again.
