Parabéns Tryally pelo entusiasmo (vc montou praticamente tudo sozinho!) que local agradavél ;que resultam dessa mistura: gostar de ferramentas, gostar de organização, ter prazer em compartilhar. Thanks, The shop is at my home, I'm an electronic enginee in my work. But with my Sherline machines I save some money and have a good time. Regards luiz

Hello, Can you please tell me how you made the CNC drive with the stepper motors for this lathe? Do you use belt drive or gear system? Hos did you modify the lathe leadscres for this? I like it very much!! Regards Bernt

Ho Lawrence, Yes I have one Sieg X2, So I made some modifications with cool results. First I put syncronized belt in spindle motor, two I made somes gears using nylon, three I made a CNC a upgrading using leadscrew bearing, four a forced lubrication. All brings a very cool machine. Regards Luiz

@berntd Hi Bernt, thanks for your question, I use the Sherline drive box. Here I use belt drive in my system for X and Z axis, the result is very cool. As soon as possible I'll make a video new serie about it and I hope your appreciation too. I think that it can help a many friends here, Best regards from Brazil. Luiz Ally

My grinding machine, use a diamond grindstone. It is very efficient and the result is excellent. Still today, the my first new video about tool holder is posted. I will dedicate to you. Regards.

Luiz do you still have the X2 mill i seen in this video? any upgrades...I just installed a motor for power feed no cnc ...just a small mill for drilling etc.... I would like your thoughts..

bonjour bonne video des possibiliter des machines don vs disposer ,mais pettite remarque na tu pas de probleme de porte a faux lors de tournage sur 1 si grande longeur ,1 montage mixte n'etait til pas possible (mandrin et contre pointe pour augmenter la rigiditer du montage),sinon trestres bon travail comme tjr .bien cordialement thierry.

hola Luiz esou pensando en comprar un torno sherline, teño algunhas preguntas como exemplo canto backlash ten, existen ballscrews para evitar o backlash?, compro o sherline ou coloco os motores eu mais tarde? moito obrigado Luiz

Olá Eugenio Sherline é um bom equipamento para uso em casa, existem fusos e kits melhores fabricado pela A2Z CNC porem são caros e penso não valer a pena, no geral tem 0.05 mm a 0.10 de backlash porem a maioria dos programas CNC tem ajuste eletrônico de folga que funciona bem. O Sistema CNC de motores Sherline é muito bom e recomendo o original.
