@@katieodonnell2887 I genuinely think that's what has kept me engaged with the Try Guys. They surrender the ego so easily, and let the people around them have their own moments. They surround themselves with engaging people and don't mind when those people start to garner their own following. Miles, YB, Alex, Rachel, Will, Jonathan, Sam, Rainie, Kaylin...plus the Try Wives, plus their friends and peers, like Alex and Hughie, Chris Reinacher, Jared, Garrick, Kelsey, Kwesi... they use their position to elevate everyone around them, and I love it.

@@whitneyleigh5453 yeah I'm glad too. Tap dancing originated in america when poor irish immigrants mixed with the black population, it's like a mixture of traditional Irish dancing combined with african styles which made it more free and rhythmical. The history of both is very important to tap dancing, but people generally overlook black people's contribution and only talk about tap as like an american version of irish dancing. Which it kind of is, but talking about the legacy of black tap dancers is so central to the history of tap too

Highlighting Zach's chronic pain and invisible illness is so important. Normalizing disability and accomodations will help so many people, and it'll help so many people learn. Its extremely validating for me to see this situation represented in the way that it is: he wants to try something, turns out it's not gonna work for him, he comes out and has fun anyways while still respecting his body. Also Eugene doesn't owe anyone his time. He's also a grown up and makes choices.

@@ZairaBandy I assume Eugene was unavailable. @@samhand1177 I like everything you say here except the reminder about people being grownups and making their own choices. That's already a given, and people will still have their concerns and wishes. About Eugene not owing anyone his time, I don't think Zaira was challenging that notion, but I get that some people sometimes act as if they bought a ticket to a KZfaq channel. I'm glad you got to see representation of someone living with pain and persevering until it's too much and that being OK. Things mostly seem to work with Zach, and the times they don't are valuable reminders of what he goes through. I love that he will say when he's in pain. It's so easy to forget that sort of thing when the person never complains.
