It's nice to see somewhere featured that's a bit run down and not super luxurious. I think too many people have ideas that Japan is all very fancy and clean and high-tech, but not everything is perfect! There are old and dirty spots no matter what country you are in!

レトロで風情のあるカプセルホテルですね、昭和時代の子供の頃に宿泊したホテルを思い出しました。しかし部屋はブロックルームというよりロッカールームという感じで面白かったです😆

$15 for a solo space in Tokyo is great. Not all dorms allow you to lock your own space. Spent more on a shared room before and my neighbors were so loud it was hard to sleep.

I love how these videos are really easy to watch, the subtitles are spot on, and minimal ambient noises. One thing for me about these cubicles, was the louvred doors. I am so fussy i can't have any light in my room as i try to sleep.

コロナで閑散としていた時は1泊1500で泊まれるゲストハウスなどを利用していました。ライブ遠征で寝泊まりするだけなので充分ですね😊

前にこちらに泊まりましたが、意外とサービス(といってもカップ麺等インスタント食品が買えてポットも使えて食べられる、洗濯機が乾燥機付きも使える、洗剤も一包100円のが助かった)が良くて、近くにコンビニもあるしでレビュー程に悪い印象は無かったです。夜は飲み屋さんとかが多くて活発なので治安は良くないと思われがちでしょうが、直前に池袋を歩いてたせいか、悪いとは感じませんでした。あとはフロントの方が無愛想とのレビューがありましたが、フロントからすぐ近くにベッドの部屋があるのと、どうしても電気等で不具合が出たりして利用者さんから呼ばれたりで忙しそうなので仕方ないかなという印象ですね。私自身アメニティが揃ってて風呂に入って寝られさえすればいいので、また利用したいと思えました。

千葉県住みなので赤羽で泊まることはそうそうないと思いますが、楽しめました。宿泊費よりくら寿司での夕食代のほうが高かったっぽいですね。

新型コロナ前より東京の(と言うより全国的に)ホテルが本当に高くなってしまったので魅力的なお値段でした。私は上野のカプセルホテルをよく利用していたのですがコロナ渦で主に定宿にしていたカプセルホテルが二つも無くなってしまった。そして残っているところは値段が1.5倍くらいに。以前の値段で東京で泊まろうと思うと今だとドミトリーとなってしまう。ほぼカプセルと変わらないところもあるけど普通の二段ベッドみたいなところは抵抗有るんですよね。今回ご紹介いただいたところはまた極端というか閉所恐怖症の人なら拷問になりそうwww 部屋の中の荷物入れの様子を見ると以前はもっとペラペラのマットレスだったんでしょうね。今は改善されたとお見受けできます。赤羽は行ったこと無いのですが飲み屋が多そうで良い感じです。是非また選択肢に入れてみようと思います。ありがとうございました。

Il est super ce restaurant de sushi ,très rapide et les plats très appétissants. pour le prix l'hôtel est quand même pas mal .. Je pense que ce style d'hôtel n'existe pas en France... Très bon reportage comme à l'habitude et à bientôt pour un prochain voyage . Merci .. Michel de France 😀

I swear they adjusted the win-rate of the gachapon sushi game lols, it was so easy to get a gachapon previously, we probably got one every 2 tries, but in my last japan trip, we ate 20 plates and got none.

I stayed there myself for one night about 4 months ago whilst travelling Japan. Unfortunately as I'm 189cm or so, I barely fit in the room and yes, bathroom was very stinky, the room smelt like cigarettes and very noisy... but very cheap

Thanks for taking us there! I wish they would make capsule hotels for the homeless here in USA. It's small, but at least it's warm snd ppl are off the street. Do you have homeless in Japan? Just wondering. I'm very empathetic and I don't want to see anyone suffer needlessly. Thanks for another great video and thank you for dating them! 噂のブロックルームに泊まったのですか！入り口はロールスクリーンのほうがカプセルホテルは防犯上安心感があるような気がします。近所のカスタマカフェに泊まったほうが禁煙者としていいかな。布団はないけど… 赤羽自体は街の活気があって、せんべろなお店だけじゃなくカフェやファストフードも多いのでおすすめです。最近は東洋大学の移転で若者をかなり多くみかけるようになりました。

カプセルホテルは簡易宿泊所になるから部屋にカギはつけられない規則になっているので鍵が付いているのが不思議です。簡易宿泊所で鍵がつけられるのは脱衣や貴重品などのロッカーであれば問題ないです。☺
