For hairstyle no. 3 with the hair clip, you were supposed to bring the front hair and the back hair together, you don’t just start from the back. It’s like doing a normal ponytail but just half of your hair, if you did it right I think that hair was the best of them all and would suit you really well too, plus it would be comfortable for you too, no hair infront of your face and looks pretty❤

You may be one of those rare people who can carry off long hair indefinitely; there's a lot to be said for enjoying it while you have it. There's certainly nothing wrong with having slicked-back hair for everyday if you have the right face for it, and you do. Then you can have help from your family or a salon for special occasions - hairstylists dream of working on hair like yours, that so much can be done with (even Naz, cooing "you're my favorite," wanted badly to do your hair). We like you just the way you are, Queen of Pups.

Just a super simple half up half down is amazing! Sensory safe, and looks a bit more fancy. No hair in the face is always a win!

tip: you’re not supposed to brush from the top to bottom, start at the bottom then work your way to the top because if you start from the top there’s gonna be a lot of knotting and breakage, it’s just a more healthier, and less painful way! Edit: Sockie you’re killing me man😭, you have to get the hair in the front too for the claw clip, also you need to leave half of the hair you put up down! Also for the curl you have to use smaller strands as naz was doing and you guys need to leave the iron on the hair longer (not too long, we don’t want burnt hair) so it can actually take shape from the heat. Keep trying though you’ll get it eventually!

SUGGESTION: For the messy bun, make sure you brush out like your scalp and all that area so you don’t have a rly bumpy ponytail When you straighten your hair, remember to use heat protectant, and straighten the pieces up by your forehead For the half up half down take your fingers, start somewhere above your ears and part your hair all the way back so that when you have the half up hairstyle, it looks good from the front, and then it’s out of your face Also use heat protectant for curly hair- to curl you hair you have to hold it there for a couple seconds the let the heat kinda sink in

I literally could not relate to this more. I'm right now going through my hair era and struggling to find a fun, easy style to do. I totally agree with the hair down and for that I'd recommend doing a half up half down style because it keeps those front pieces out of my face but still gives you that hair down look. I also curl my hair with braids often and I can't French or Dutch braid my own hair yet, however I have found it's quite easy to do a two strand twist and then braid normally at the bottom. I love how Sockie is so relatable and true with everything she does. Hope this might help a little.❤

hey sockie, Ive got tips for hairstyles 2, 3 and 4. 2- Dont be afraid of the straightener! Ive been straightening my hair for 3 years now and my hair genuinely hasnt been damaged. I use a heat protection spray which works wonders. Dont be worried of the flat iron burning off your hair cos thats so rare. Plus, it only take 5 seconds max to straighten one strand, and that isnt enough time for the straightener to burn your hair off! 3- First start which brushing the front of your hair back as if you are going to do an actual pony tail. But remember to only use half of your hair. The good thing about this hairstyle is that it doesnt really matter if it has bumps (as long as you style it well; im sure sabre/naz can teach you some styling hacks). But if you dont want bumps, you can pretty much use any brush to brush them away. once you have your bobble in, i like to twist the hair. This makes the claw clip go in easier and it also make it stay in longer. This hairstyle really suited you so I think you should defo wear it! 4- Try splitting your hair into small sections and brush them out. Ensure each section is not tangled with any other loose hairs (this will make the straightener come down easier). Then, clamp down the straightener as if you was going to straighten. But the key is to next twist the straightener away from you. Then pull down the straightener SLOWLY. and again, dont worry, this will not burn your hair off. If you really cant do it with a straightener, there are many places where you can buy a curling iron from for very cheap but also good quality. goodluck :)

Thing Is sockie u need to section ur hair when u Curl and straighten your hair. That’s why when u try to curl it with ur whole head of hair in one piece the straighteners can’t take that much hair. Hope this helps ❤

When I realised how much sockie struggle with doing her hair I instantly felt so much better, I can barely do a ponytail at the age of 15. To be fair I have dyspraxia and autism so it’s hard for me to figure out how to do things like this but it just made me feel so much better

For a plat sock put your ponytail on your shoulder and do it in a mirror and cross over while the ponytail (hair) is on your shoulder x,, use a brush when doing half up and down to brush it all into ponytails.

if you improve at braiding/plaiting your hair you could always do two small plaits on either side of your head on the front, so the front strands of your hair don't get in the way and your hair isn't too slicked back. Once you get the hang of braiding it would be a super quick hairstyle!!

What Sockie needs to do is when she does the half up claw clip she needs to grab her hair from the sids and pull it back. When that’s done she needs to separate the half hair that is up from the hair that is down. Then she can tie it up with a hair tie and put the claw clip in. Sockie has naturally wavy hair! Her hair would not be frizzy or have any wave naturally if her hair was naturally straight. KZfaq has so many good resources on how to care for wavy hair!!! Sockie, you’re gorgeous no matter what you do w your hair. But using a brush or comb to smooth out the hair on the head when trying to put it up in the bun will help make the look more sleek and make the process less confusing w little hairs everywhere, seperate/ part your hair cleanly, no fly always!
