@@anushkaamanullah5561 Not really. It makes you more streamlined for competitive swimming and also reduces chlorine damage if you wash your hair right afterwards. Many swimmers dip their caps in water before they put them on. I have done that ‘hack’ before, although it’s mostly just messing around, it’s a hundred times easier to just put your cap on normally.

no it’s not lol. the point of it is actually the friction. i used to be a swimmer and when i would forget my cap it felt like my hair was pulling my head back. also, your hair doesn’t get in your face which is really annoying!

A swimming/ bathing cap is meant to keep your hair dry when you go swimming but if you put water in it to put it on your head what's the point?

Have you even tried them? They aren't supposed to keep your hair dry, they are supposed to keep the falling hair BecUse if a lot of hair falls and it's not the right type of drain it clogs the pool draining system, it DOESN'T keep your hair dry at ALL

No the point of a swimming cap is to prevent ur hair from floating around and just staying in the cap cuz yk water will still enter with the cap on.

🏊🏼♀️Lol I’m on swim team and I have to get up at 6:20 to get In the pool at 7. I love to swim! The caps are so easy to put on but sometimes the pull on your hair. All my friends mess around after practice trying to do that hack but I’ve only seen it happen once.... 😂plus it gets your face soaked before you even want it to. 😕🥇🏆
